  • He was better than Iran's President would be if he was able to kill as many of us as he wants.

  • He brought the German people out of the Weimar republic which was established at the end of WW1 and limited the country and took away certain area's of it He would bring German back onto there feet even after the loss they faced at WW1 and would make them a well known nation once again, but this is all before the he would push towards France cause him and Russia taking over Poland did start WW2 but it was not a "huge" deal

  • He could have been a painter..
  • He was a right snappy dresser, surely.
  • I have something positive to say He was a leader and not a follower like the rest of the dumb asses that followed him and trusted in what he was saying....
  • He was the ultimate nationalist and a patriot to the core. Risen to ranks with his hard work and will. Build such an efficient administration that even Good corporates with a dedicated department to do so cannot. He was so focussed that nothing could stand on his way. There is lots and lots of positive about him. Its just that small bit of negativism that brought him bad name and ill fate. And believe me if he would have won the same question could have been: Is there something negative about Adolf Hitler??
  • He was able to talk to a crowd of half a million people. Now when you've got a crowd that size hanging on your every word, you've got the crowd.

  • He was a decent artist and a vegetarian... the goddamn hypocrite.
  • Germany was so angry and desperate in the early 1930's that it would have either gone Fascist or Communist. Since it went Fascist, it meant that Germany fought the Soviet Union instead of co-operating with it. If Germany and the USSR had fought on the same side, all of Europe, almost all of Asia and most of Africa would be Communist today, and quite possibly they would have conquered the Western Hemisphere as well. So although he was an extremely wicked man, at least he was a counterweight to Communism, which is far more evil than Nazism.
  • The only good thing to come out of AH is that he had the right idea of sterilisation. If we had that in place today with all the issues of sexual infections and illicit underage immoral sex, then maybe we wouldnt have a society riddled with single parents (yes I know not all single parents are single because of this) and incredibly high rates of sexual infection! Other than that he followed his own political agenda, there is not real fact saying he ordered the holocaust, he was clever enough with words to manipulate ppl, and stupidly, ppl seemed to follow the thread he was hoping for so that he never really could take any blame...smart really.

  • hitler was the pivotol person at the right time at the right century, and brought down governments whom were governed by the rich and wealthy monarchs, believe what you will but it was because of hitler that colonial empires disolved, and war fought in the tradition of alexander the great came to an end. Hitler did terrible things to the human race, but the holocaust was learned by hitler frome the treatment of the north american indians by the federal army of the united states i.e. reservations if i'am not mistaken was a holocaust unto itself. We creat our own enemies. I better go before i stirr up the wrong idea
  • He never cheated on his wife, that's about it!
  • Well, he is responsible for the VolksWagon. He also was a war hero - awarded the Iron Cross, 1st Class, in WWI, an honor almost unheard of for an enlistedman in the Kaiser's army. He was very charming and chatty with the ladies - and actually enjoyed it! A master of banal tea-party chit-chat -- not that that's a good thing, just that the office gals really liked it. He also loved and was very good with dogs and small children ... so long as they had perfect pedigrees and weren't on territory that required bombing in the Nazi interest. (Lousy artist though, full of the artistic temperment with none of the talent: couldn't/wouldn't draw people - or even animals - only landscapes and elevations.) Most happily, he was a lousy tactician and a military idiot, whose interference cost Germany the battle of Stalingrad and thus the whole war. ---------------- re Ian M's: "but the holocaust was learned by hitler frome the treatment of the north american indians by the federal army of the united states i.e. reservations if i'am not mistaken was a holocaust unto itself." Simply bunk. His program and system for genocide was developed by the German Empire, first in dealing with the natives of German East and West Africa, and "perfected" in the Armenian Holocaust - a little cross-cultural assistance provided by the Kaiser to his allies the Turks in WWI. But German racist ideas go back to Haeckel (not Hegel ... though his theory of dialectic was misappropriated to the same cause). As for America's war on the Plains Indians, however much one may condemn it, it was simply not of the same order or objective. Hitler and his ilk saw Jews, Gypsies, et al. as an insidious virus that threatened to eat away at, corrupt, and destroy "the Volk" -- moreover, they were seen as an evil in themselves. By contrast, the U.S. government saw the Plains Indians as militant cranks standing in the way of the public good. If they could have secured the plains for productive farmers, ranchers, and traders by assimilating and icorporating the Indian peoples, instead of destroying Indian culture and putting them into reservations, they would have.
  • yes, he had the courage of his convictions, he stood against all odds, and succeeded by getting into power. he was a failed painter who almost conquered the world. not a bad start

  • We all have positive and negative things. Hitler, for example: he recovered Germany´s economy after it was crushed by the Great Depression, it is incredible how he conviced the people about his thoughts, he gave the germans a sense of national pride. Of course, he would have been the perfect leader if it weren´t for his Nazi ideals.
  • good leader and good ideas, but he took everyhing to the extreme
  • Autoban
  • People only focus on the "I hate Jews" part of him. But objectively speaking, he was an adept political leader, excellent orator, and a man who stuck to his beliefs. If only he wasn't a racist megalomaniac, he may have become one of the most respectable people in history.

  • He was a vegetarian, we was disgusted by animal cruelty, and that's one of the main reasons he hated Joseph goebbels. Lol.
  • He was instrumental in the development of Adolph's seasonings?
  • His empire failed. Hitler should be so vilified, however, he was one man. He had millions of followers who listeded and apparently agreed with much of what he had to say. He had plenty of support. No man can do what he did without plenty of help. We are most disturbed by him and his "accomplishments" because he was human. There are little Hitler's throughout history and living all over the earth today. You may have a neighbor with some of Hitler's characteristics. Face it, many humans are not so cool. I guess the worst thing is we don't know who they are. His moment in history was unique.

  • I know this is a set up question and I'am going to answer it as uncofortable as it is, Adolf Hitler came from nothing, was nothing, and with in withing 12 years came closer to his dream than most people, sure he did shitty things, but so have we all. I don't admire such a person but there it is, It is played on the MIitary channel 24hrs a day. He spoke of a thousand year reich and they will still be talking of him and his dream, how in this world do governments let that person lead them right to hell, knowing full well they will die, and they died for an akwardly 5ft 6inch little man does nt make sense . In short he came closer to a dream than most and that little shit nearly pulled it off the vagabaun from vienna

  • I would say that he was misguided but we all make bad choices in life.He is far from people like William the Conquerer,Attila the Hun, or others that have caused much more damage to the world many hundreds of years ago
  • He lived modestly despite his wealth and power and he was faithful to his love. He supported the idea of armour mobile warfare when all other world leaders refused it. He provided excellent veteran benefits for his soldiers while he ruled. He was a very good speaker He pioneered the idea of freeways, or autobahn. He was a decorated soldier in WWI which speaks to his bravery and his patriotism. He understood the waste and corruption the cooperation create and did what he could to control them. He brilliantly maneuvred himself to power by gaining the support of Germany's many factions and this speaks to his excellent political accumen. No I am not a supporter of hitler, but there it is.
