Yes....I was a Dumbass and put Metal in the Microwave but thank God we got the fire out so it didnt spread
-
Oh yeah! I was dumb. I even put milk in the microwave with a lid on it. So when I opened up the lid all of the hot milk blew up in my freakin face. I was in pain for days!
-
i never but i always tell my co-workers it is ok to put metal containers in the microwave. (the things i would do for a laugh)
-
I did, I missed a tiny piece of foil on a container and bang. I got it out no damage to see. Boy did my son and daughter-in-law get mad when they found out I was still useing it.
-
Not on accident.....

When i first got my microwave i even tried hard boiling eggs & um well when i opened the door every thing was fine then i pulled out the bowl that had the water & 2 eggs in it all of a sudden the eggs started hissing then blew up like a volcano some how pieces flew down my shirt & i couldnt get it out still have a dark scar on my back from it.

ummm nope

Just a little one. I was defrosting a whole chicken still in the bag of course s it was all frozen stuck. And I didn't realize that it wasn't a plastic tie at the end of the bag but it was a paper twist tie with the thin metal wire in it. It heated up and caught the paper on fire and lightly melted the bag on the end but because the chicken was still so frozen the cold or wet put out the fire quickly. But I have learned you can put and use metal in the microwave if you are careful, even foil.

Accidentally??
-
Yes, I'm ashamed to admit that I have.
-
Yes my bra. I needed a particular bra and it had been washed and was still damp so I put it in the microwave to finish it off and the under wires where wire and not plastic as I thought they where. It just suddenly burst into flames. I'm sure your thinking what an idiot. Well you would be right cos thats exactly what I said to myself at the time.
-
Several times. I always forget that a random piece of packaging has metal in it
-
Nope, just the stove. Tried to heat up my hockey stick to put a new blade it. It was a little too close and whoosh - but i saved the house in time.
-
No, but it smoked and we had to get a new one.
-
made sparks. i didnt think about a hershey bar having aluminum in the wrapper. LOL!
-
yes yes i have... didnt think it would start a fire because it was only for 15 seconds... but boy was a wrong.
-
No fire, but I did once put an egg in the microwave and it exploded.
