When visiting family and friends, Do you snoop through their bathroom medicine cabinet, or respect their privacy?

Never. I wouldn't do it, no matter how strong the urge. It just seems so wrong AND I don't want to find something weird or something that makes me feel even worse than just plain guilt.

I wouldn't consider touching their stuff unless they have a spongebob electric toothbrush. in that case I might use it.

I have never even considered going thru someones medicine cabinet. I guess it's because I was taught by my parents to NEVER go thru anyone's stuff. But, that IS a good commercial where the lady opens the medicine cabinet and every shelf collapses! LoL!

I can't help myself when I vist someone new's home. I have to have the guided tour but I cannot bring myself to peer into their personal spaces. I love to visit every room and check out how they have arranged things and what furnishings they have used what colours, etc., but I just cannot go into drawers or wardrobes or medicine cabinets. I will check out linen cupboards and kitchen pantries...I suppose I have then tagged as communal spaces in my mind, but private spaces are verboten......I once tried to check out stuff of an ex-boyfriend but I just could not invade his personal space....

Never considered going through someone's medicine cabinet. but NOW I have, thanks to this question! haha. Actually, I'm VERY uncomfortable with invading people's privacy.

No way would I snoop through anything. The one problem I had in the cleaning business is I didn't like to open drawers or open a closed door. I ended up telling all of my clients, If it is closed I wont open it. I wouldn't like the feeling of not being trusted.

A good way to stop that when company is over is to load the medicine cabinet with marbles so when the victim opens the door, they make a racket as they hit the sink. A note that says "GOTCHA" taped to a shelf is a nice touch!

I'm more interested in what is on the bookshelf than what's in the medicine cabinet. I honestly don't think it's about their privacy - I simply don't care.

No, I don't really care about the medicine cabinet. One thing I do check that's weird is their tub...shampoos, conditioners, body wash, soap, razors... for some reason what they use interests me. So make sure you clean your tub if I'm coming over. =D

Nope does'nt interest me as a matter of fact I've been known to booby trap my medicine cabinet just to teach them a noisy lesson about minding their own business

Frankly, if they wanted privacy, they wouldn't leave private stuff right there in the medicine cabinet.... But no, I'm not particularly interested.

No, its a pet peeve of mine for people to snoop through my stuff so I usually don't theirs unless their out of toilet paper & I need to look for some in the bottom of the sink.

No I do not. I would hate people snooping through my things, but then i would not keep anything i did not want anyone to see in a bathroom used by visitors

No. I can't even find anything in my own cabinet and, when i do, it is really scary. I can't even begin to get brave enough to open someone else's. Besides, it would be WAY TOO MUCH information.

I try not to have to use others' restrooms. I try to go before I leave home. If I must, though, I don't really care what drugs they're doing. Plus, I have a fear of getting stuck in the same situation as Steve Martin in Father of the Bride.

I just check what kind of bathroom tissue they use, if it's not Charmin ultra I'll wait to unload when I get home...:)

I snoop when i spend the night and i'm singing while doing so :) I need shampoo and conditioner to wash my hair, i need soap to clean my face and body, i need ear tissues to clean my ears, need toothpaste to clean my teeth :) Moment of realisation... *Burst into tears* Oh no, im a needy curious monster that invades the privacy of relatives and friends!! *Burst out crying* Now i know that my aunt uses a pessarium and my uncle uses hair growing liquid! And, and, and, my friend takes derma pills :'( I gotta turn myself in and when i'm in jail, i hope they throw away the key!!:'(
