I think its admirable you have the discipline to journal! No, not nice. But I understand the temptation. I'd want to know more about my partner as well. Still the past is a learning process and doesn't reflect the person they have become anyway.

What´s the need for snooping? If you have any suspicions of your partner cheating or anything along those lines, address them. Make them show proof that they´d never do anything of the sorts. But if you feel those suspicions in the first place, should you really spend the rest of your life with this person? Think about that. 😉
