I don't remember my family doing this, but my cousin does. There are plenty of places, including WalMart, that will make cards out of digital photos. I have a digital SLR and was considering doing wedding invites for a friend of mine by using card stock and my printer. :)

Guilty. I did this one year with my ex boyfriend and his family. My ex and his two sisters were all models at one point so they were BIG on pictures. Needless to say.. I'm sure they removed that one from the wall when him and I split after 3 years :)

Not family but a picture of my cat peeking through the Christmas tree. I bought cards with a slide in place to put the photo.

Yeah--Sam's makes them really cheap. 30 cards, plus envelopes for $10. Can't beat that!

I used to take our dogs pic every year, when I quit, I had more people asking for them....I also save the cards with friends pics on them, especially of the children.

Yes - I make my own on the computer and decorate it with scrapbooking embellishments or glitter glue. You use a good heavy paper like about 90lb. People just love to get them.
