  • Not sure I understand the question. Where my gf and I are concerned, we sometimes use sex to calm each other if one or the other is stressed or upset about something. We do, sometimes, have "make-up sex" if we have had an argument. Though surprisingly not often. We have an iron clad rule that we never, ever, go to bed angry at each other. (The dumbest fear I have is that I would have an argument with her and something would happen to her in the middle of the night and I would never be able to tell her that I love her ever again. It is a silly fear - what could happen to her when we share a bed? - but there it is. Anyhow, you always have challenging questions, but I am not sure I understand this one. My gf and I have, as I say, used sex to calm and reassure one another, if that is what you mean. We have, to the best of my recollection, never used sex to resolve an argument, though we have done make-up sex. Even then, not a lot, We have a great sex life - maybe because we separate it from our disputes rather than use it to cover or resolve our disagreements. Hope that answers your question. P.S. I will be interested on any comments you may have on that other question we were discussing. You said you didn't have time to respond, but you tend to come at things differently than I do. I will be interested.

Thank you I meant this more a question for women but I suppose in some situation men might do it as well. I guess I wasn't thinking of in relationships but could be in relationships. What I meant was often I would have sex with someone when I did not want to and just because I could not come up with any other way of handling the situation. Please understand when I was young my verbal skills were not great and also situations where it is just easier to go alone than not or than making waves. Or where I thought it was expected of me so I just went along. Or if I am afraid of someone so like to distract him from possibly hurting me. Like that.
