What would you do for this situation, avoid or be neutral?
So there is this guy that I like and I confessed to him. But he rejected me. But it doesn't feel like he doesn't like me, coz he asked me to follow him around to buy stuff and for chat on random unexpected moments. And also, there was this once where we were all sitting tgt with a bunch of friends, and there is this another dude that asked me to follow him to grab some food. The guy that I like somehow told him to go alone as there isn't a need for my company. So I seriously do not understand why is he doing this to me when he already rejected my confession. Should I avoid him completely or be neutral about it?

He knows you're attracted to him and he loves the attention so he wants you to follow him around to boost his ego. He's a jerk, move on.
