Finger likin' good. It tastes just like chicken...
-
Yes and they taste fine like shicken only the darker meat of chicken . I prefer white meat.
-
yes and they do taste like chicken, however ,It made me SICK, when I saw thsoe poor little frogs hobblin out of the kitchen with their crutches and walkers. all bandaged up, never, ever, being able to hop again(
-
Fiddly to eat, but dripping with garlic butter....... so good.... also try them stir-fried with scallions garlic and chilli, thai-style, they're fabulous!
-
Yep, but as with most dishes in France, they were drenched in garlic butter and so the taste was hard to discern.
-
I had them at a Chinese buffet about a year ago. They have a very odd flavor. Don't believe the lie that the taste like chicken. I can't really describe the flavor except that it minutely had a tinge of seafood-like flavor to it.
-
No I have never eaten it.I can't even imagine it.
-
Yes, I can live without 'em.
-
yes, they were tasty in garlic butter, but then, what isn't? Oh um, I'll tell you what - snail. Escargot is vile, and I very nearly embarrassed myself in a parisian restaurant finding that out.
-
Of course, all french people do.
-
Yes, it's sort of like chicken. I just didn't like how it looked when I ate it. So, I'll just pass the next time I'm ever offered - hey, at least I can say I've tried frog legs before.
-
nope and nope
-
I have. I found them to smell very gamey and tasted sort of slimy. I wont eat them again.
-
Yes they taste like chicken but not the white breast meat so I do not like them
-
Maybe this will help http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/247851 In fact I went to a Chinese buffet 2 weeks ago and had some. Not bad.
-
Yes I have and they were very good. I't stue, they DO taste like chicken. I just didn't think it was worth the price and effort to have something that's still taste like very good chicken. Maybe if chicken started to taste like I'd THINK frogs tasted like, maybe again.
-
there are too many leg less frogs in the world.
-
i don't like thinking of them as frog legs. i'd probably eat them if they were called cuisses de grenouille or something.
-
Yes I had them whenI was about 13 at camp - I knew what they were and I tasted them. I hated the taste...or did I hate the taste cause they were frogs legs??? DUNNO!!!
-
G'day Denise, Thank you for your question. I have never eater frog legs. If a host offered them to me cooked, I would eat them. It is unlikely that I would eat them in a restaurant because there would be many items on the menu that would appeal to me more. Regards
-
They're quite delicious, chances are that if you saw them batered and fried, you might be tempted by them.
-
Good stuff... but I haven't found a place that does them in a while...
-
They are actually pretty good. They taste a lot like chicken wings.
-
I have. They tasted very much like chicken, but were a bit chewier. There isn't much meat on them. It bothered me that a whole frog was killed for such a tiny amount of meat that tasted like tough chicken, so I just eat chicken.
-
I have never tasted them before and i dont plan on it lol
-
They tasted fine, I just had trouble getting over the idea that they looked exactly like frog legs...
-
No. Ick. But thats just my taste :)
-
no, but I have eaten bullfrog in China
-
No but I saw some recently in the grocery store and surprisingly they looked good!!!
-
I ate some. Before I went vegetarian. And I don't *have* - and never had - frog legs... ----- REMARK ------ The answer was given to a slightly different question, "Ever had frog legs?". This explains why I said that...
-
Yes I actually have. =)
-
Nope. There is one more thing I must do before I die.
-
I swim the breaststroke with a frog kick. That is the closest I have come to 'having' frogs legs. But I have eaten them, being Belgian, a few times. They are tasty, but not much meat on them.
-
I have had the big bull frog legs breaded and deep fried a couple of times, I wasn't impressed. Once I had some little ones sautéed in garlic butter which were awesome, but I guess dog poop may be good if it has enough garlic butter.
-
yes! they are yummy! I've had them along with steamed oysters (double yummy) and chinese food!!!! what a combination!!! soooo good!
-
No, but I have crow's feet.
-
No..I have always been told my legs are rather nice, thank you.
-
Both. I like frog legs and do not like turtle. I LOVE alligator.
-
Yes, Frogs legs taste like Chicken. In fact in Jamaica in the Hills they have enormous frogs which they call Mountain Chicken. I do not like turtle.
-
no i havent. I'd feel weird doing that.
-
I'm not THAT adventurous.
-
I've eaten frogs legs and they really do taste like a skinny chicken; not tried turtle though.
-
ewwww no and i don't want to try.
-
I've eaten frog legs. They were pretty good. They tastes a lot like chicken .
-
Both. I will pass on the turtle next time, but the frogs legs were great. Almost as good as crayfish tails.
-
No. I'm not much of a meat eater and when I do eat meat it's almost always a small piece of chicken or fish. Most meats kind of gross me out.
-
I've had turtle soup many many years ago and liked it. And I've enjoyed frogs legs but they really did rqtgher taste like chicken so for the cost, I'd just as soon eat chicken which I really like
-
Many years ago I ate frog legs...I don't recall them being to bad. If given another opportunity I would try them again, as for alligator tail, yum!
-
I've never eaten turtle but HAVE eaten frog legs several times. When I was a youngster, my dad, a Naval Officer, tricked me into trying them. I was amazed at how good they were. I was 10 years old. Yes, frog legs, properly prepared, really DO taste like chicken. Years later, when in San Francisco, we went to a mom & pop chinese place in Chinatown. Wonderful food - and I ordered the frog legs. They weren't quite as good as what I remembered from my childhood, but I think that was because they were deep fried with batter - and the first time I had them they weren't. But the flavor was still good.
-
Had them once....tasted like...fishy chicken >:P
-
of course cause i'm french! frog legs are basically rather tasteless; everything is in the sauce & the wine you are drinking with.
-
yes.. I didn't think they tasted like chicken though - I think that was just because the shape and texture of the leg was similar to a chicken wing, but they tasted very nice
-
Yes I do. :)
-
Never in my life i know that it is serve in chinse restuarant.
-
I have before but it has been a long time. a lot of work for little results.
-
I have. They aren't that great, but not bad.
-
I've tried them once. It's true... they taste like lean chicken.
-
Not that I know of.
-
I've eaten them, but not recently. They're pretty good, but you need a whole lot to fill you up lol. Anyways I prefer snails.
-
nope, i am a vegetarian
-
i tried them when i was in france they weren't as bad as the snails
-
Had em, taste's like chicken! lol +5
-
They are too much work to eat, like quail. I will let others enjoy them.
-
yammy if cooked well
-
I've had them, and they're tasty, but the fact that they're served as very obviously a frog's legs (versus frog leg nuggets or just a mound of the little slivers of meat, I don't know) kicked in the gag reflex. So I probably won't have them again.
-
Yes and, if I'm not careful, there are frogs that would eat me too
-
I have but not in a long time. Didn't particularly enjoy them. ribbit
-
Tried them once in Paris. You know, when in France etc. etc. Also tried snails. Frogs legs are tasty but fiddly and they look like frogs legs when served which is somewhat off-putting and, as for the snails - well they were bogging! I won't be repeating this experience again!
-
served in France and it is one delicacy I know I will never order. I saw a clip of the frogs having back legs chopped off and the rest, still alive being discarded.
-
Frog legs have a mildly pleasant taste, a bit like pullet. They're overrated. Snails are delicious dipped in butter sauce.
-
Yes, many years ago I had some. Very tasty!!! I'd love to eat them again. We almost had enough bullfrogs in our pond last year for them. We were planning on going gigging for them this year but then they must have heard me for they disappeared LOL!!!
-
Never
-
I would only eat frog legs if cooked properly. But I haven't tried them yet!
-
Would I? Could I? Why yes I could. I could eat a frog. I could eat a frog sitting on a log somewhere in a bog, breathing in the smog. I could eat them, yes I could, I did eat them and They were good.
-
Nope, havent and really dont know if I would.
-
I have eaten frog legs.
-
I've eaten frogs' legs, they're good. A whole frog, no thank you.
-
Could I would I eat a frog, Yes I'd eat him on a log.
-
Their legs...yes, they are quite good, but not the whole frog.
-
I have eaten froglegs.
-
i wont eat it , not in a million chance .
-
Sure, one little leg over this ear and one little leg over this ear...ROFL, +5
-
Only the legs. I'll pass on the squishy parts though.
-
No.
-
NOT... I would not even if I could just not gonna happen!
-
Yes I have done many times and they are delicious. A bit fiddly to eat though, but not quite as bad as seafood.
-
Barbequed frog's legs taste 'just like chicken'! ;-)

-
Would you eat it on a log? Would you eat it with a dog? Would you eat that yummy frog? I wouldn't, wouldn't eat the frog.
-
