Although pedophilia is sick and disgusting, I think a lot of them have serious mental issues that they cannot control and we should give them some other kind of treatment rather than just segregating them, locking them up, or killing them. It should be treated as a mental disorder and not just a criminal behaviour.

Actually I believe they are the ones as kids had big problems. Maybe was rapped or molested by someone or family member. Several people who have had been abused either are so far away from being that way and working out their healing. Or they become abusers. It is definetly someone who is either getting back at or just going after children cause that is what was done with him or her.

I'm not a pedophile, but here's what I think about them: I don't necessarily think that they're bad people. People on this site like to generalize and say that pedophiles should be locked up or killed. Nobody's perfect and nobody should judge another person until you really know them. And people- we've all done things that we're not proud of.

Well, no one should force sex on anyone else (especially not on children). However, it was thrilling when my older brother's friend (who was a really cute girl) basically raped me when I was twelve.

If they are abusing children and babies, they are scum and deserve nothing short of death in my eyes. If they know to keep their urges to themselves and cause no harm, then they can be good and decent people.

I wonder what the hell kind of sickness do you have to have to do those types of things. I cannot comprehend. I think of the victims, instead and hope to God they survive and can function normally one day.

Ok, so...you find the deepest, darkest, coldest whole on earth. You fill it with all manner of poisonous creatures...you drop the pedophiles in that whole... seal it...annnnnd....yeah. Thats pretty much what I think of them.

I think that a TRUE pedophile deserves to be staked out in a desert , have honey poured on his /her groin area ..and turn the fire ants loose .. then IF they live; spend the rest of their life in PRISON .... However; I do believe that things can happpen between an older person and a younger one that is instigated by a younger one ... YET; the older person gets lableled and goes to jail ... In these cases; I believe who initiated the contact should be considered before sending anyone to jail /prison ..... I'm speaking now of the younger person being over 14 -15 years of age .... Anyone who messes with anyone under 13 .... then Yeah; pull out all the stops and Punish them ...
