  • yes i would if he was the right guy for me but I havent met many guys who wait to have sex til then. I know one or two of them but thats it.
  • no, because it is important to me and if we didnt connect in bed I dont think it would work out. I would rather know before having to get a divorce
  • Sure. No reason not to.
  • Yes I would. But since I am already married, I wont be.
  • Yeah, just because they're a virgin or a little old fashioned doesn't mean they're really any different from me or you!!!
  • No way, man! What if you got hitched, took her upstairs for the consummation, and totally found out that she's built like Barbie?!?! You know, like she's all hot but she has nothing in her crotch but smooth, flesh-colored plastic?!?!? AND NO NIPPLES!!! What would you do then, huh?!? WTF would you freakin do then?!?!?!?!?!?
  • I wouldn't. When I was younger, it was one of my dreams but then I realized with experience how unrealistic waiting to have sex until marriage was. I would hate to have awkward fumbling sex on my honeymoon. A lot of people waiting until marriage for sex are ultra religious or have no understanding of the real world - waiting for the perfect white knight to come save the princess (her) in the high castle. Plus, not everyone is sexually compatible and it would suck to be with someone who does not have the same sexual interest as me. Not everyone is good at sex, some people have it, others don't and not everything can be taught. Additionally, some girls like to withhold sex as a form of punishment and that to me doesn't seem right.
  • For girls getting married to a man that is a virgin, he just looks like a dork cause he doesn't know what to do. I don't think a girl would like that, the only way that would work is if they were both virgins. SO, my answer would be yes I would marry a virgin because I am a guy & what guy wouldn't want a virgin. I don't think that a girl would marry a guy who was a virgin unless she was one as well.
  • no hhaahahahah but then again.......ye never know could fall madely inlove with someone !!!
  • I kind of don't know. Probably not.
  • Certainly. I would consider it a great honor. I would have more gentleness and consideration for her. I am not so sure that a man would be the best lover on the wedding night if he were also a virgin...but it is possible, I suppose, providing he had the right instruction from his father or some other male relative. I think most young couples are able to "manage". It is a pretty natural thing. And sex is really not the most important thing that makes a good marriage. There are other, more important things. If there is real love and commitment, the sex thing can be worked out.
  • sure. i don't see why not
  • Gross! I'm kidding. I married a virgin.
  • I have married both a virgin and an non-virgin and divorced as well...the virgin was by far the worst marriage. I now would prefer someone with some exprirance... By the way I am single, retired, don't want to marry again but would live with the right person.
  • It sounds nice, very idealistic... but that era has passed. Generally speaking, the young woman that holds out completely is never going to enjoy having sex as much as soomeone who partook years earlier. For her, it would be viewed more as her 'wifely duty'.
  • I am a virgin and my bf is a virgin and we are going to keep it that way until we get married. I think it is a very honorable thing to do. I don't have to think about my bf being intimate with anyone else except for me. It's a nice feeling!!
  • No i don't think so, you want to try the goods first, can't see the point in getting married and finding out you are not conpataible in the bed But that is just my opinion
  • No, those types of people don't share my values.
  • I have known my man for 10 years... he is living out of town, we haven't slept together yet and I would marry him today! But we are both not virgins so I don't know if that counts!
  • Yes but I doubt I would ever come across such scenario
  • No - I would need to know if we are sexually compatible before comitting my life to him.
  • Nope. And I also wouldn't buy a car without test-driving it first.
  • No I would not, i couldnt do it.
  • No, we need to make sure we are totally compatible... and sex would have to be part of that compatibility.
  • I was one of those people.
  • Absolutely! I am a virgin myself and I would like nothing more than to marry another virgin, so that we can lose our virginity together on our wedding night. Although the amount of people out there who decide to wait until marriage are the minority--there are still many who do wait, and it is not too "idealistic" to want or expect to find someone who is a virgin. Besides, the kind of girl who is not a virgin probably does not share my values in a lot of ways--so it would not work out anyway. A virgin is much more likely to share my values on things, and that's what I'm looking for.
  • No. That goes against my beliefs.
  • I would not. When I met my (now ex) wife, she was a virgin. She was 25 and I was the first man she was ever with. To me, sex is an important part of a relationship. If someone places such a low level of importance on sex (It wasn't that she was saving herself, she just never bothered to pursue it.), like my ex did, they will not begin feeling that it is more important simply because you want to have sex.
  • Mmhmm! That is what I'm doing!
  • Yes, but I would prefer not to. I would like to have someone who had some experience.
  • yes, but first thing i have to know her, if she is not what im looking for than virginity is not enough to make me spend my life with her....
  • I did but am pretty sure that I would not find a man in my age group that was a virgin and would find it quite strange if he was so If I ever married again it would not be to a virgin.
  • I didn't (and neither did he.)
