I don't, I think it's a ridiculous scale
-
Well, it's more precise-- note that Fahrenheit has almost 200 degrees between freezing and boiling, while Centigrade has only 100. But really? probably habit. I can't imagine why we told centigrade to shove off in the first place, science uses kelvin which is the same scale as F, just shifted.
-
Because Mr. Fahrenheit invented it first and not Mr. Celsius...lol..i am not sure...
-
you took my question.Anyway maybe it is used because we are next to the equater.
-
When you say 'we' you must mean the US? Anywhere else in the world Celsius is used, with maybe a Fahreheit translation for the really old or who don't understand Celsius.
-
What do you mean 'we?' We use Celsius here.
-
Fahrenheit was first, Celsius is more widespread. Fahrenheit belongs in the living room, Celsius belongs in the kitchen.
-
Because we are AMERICANS! I have no idea
-
I dont mind either, all i wanna hear is that its gonna be 32 of the latter or late 70s of the first.
