  • Fire. I don't know why.
  • A little fear I have is of bugs. Just mainly bugs like roaches or earwigs... I can't be in the same room or I am screaming (it is embarassing...) and also being alone in large places, crowded or not. A bigger fear I have would be growing up and not being ever being able to be successful in the ways that I want because of something stupid I would have done. EDIT:And quite honestly, I do not see what the point is in rating my answers like some of you people do. My fears do not have to be useful to you, it doesn't make sense to me... but whatever.

  • I have never really been afraid of anything. although, one night, i was searching this old mansion for a prowler. went in on the first floor. the coffee cup, on the table was still warm and the shower stall still had water on it. from the first floor, i could hear someone breathing on the third floor of the mansion. my legs began to get weak. the batteries in my flashlight died and all i had was the flick from my bic(lighter). I slowly made my way up the winding spiral steps from the mansion floor. each step sent chills down my spine and the floor squeaked with each step. i knew i was a sitting duck, walking up the steps, with only my bic in my hand. halfway up the steps, i stopped. i could still hear someone breathing in a room above me. the breathing was heavier and my heartbeat was pounding out my ears. i felt faint. can't stop now, remember you are not afraid of anything...HaHa! Only three more steps to go to the end of the first floor. so far, so good. now, i am beginning to sweat. the water is pouring down my face and into my eyes. my sweat is salty and burning my eyes. made it to the second set of round steps. my heart is racing. Stop and listen......yes, he is still there and breathing harder than ever. my adrenaline takes over. i now pick up the pace, up the steps. i have made it to the top of the third floor. The breathing has stopped and so has my heart. I ran over to the open window of the old mansion and looked both ways.... no one. suddenly, i heard the "hoot" of a screech owl. almost wet my pants. a thud happened. he jumped from the third floor, down to the ground, running at top speed into the woods. he's gone...good. Gaining my composure, i flicked off my bic, wiped the remaining sweat off my brow and walked down the staircase to the first floor. See, i have never really been afraid of anything..........yeah, right!

  • WOW great story John..One night last year, I went to bed. My son was on the sofa, he was sleeping over cuz his work was closer to my home the next day. I fell asleep, sort of in the fetal position. Somewhere in the deep dark night, I woke with a man in my bed, and we were like in the spoon position. I was frozen with fear, could not move but wide awake. I could feel every part of his body, PLUS he was breathing on my neck, and his breath was hot and scary. I just laid still as if I was dead, till I could get away, cause I thought he would kill me. He then put his arm on my head, and with that I screamed!!!! My son ran in, and no one was in my bed, or in this house besides the two of us. That had to be the most frightening paranormal experience of my life.
