Yes on the edge of bacon, nice and crispy, on a pork joint smothered in salt and crackly, hence the name "pork crackling" and in the UK they sell "pork scratchings" in a bag which is crunchy pigskin..doesn't sound as appetizing when you say "pigskin" though. + :o)

I tried them as a kid a few times but the taste never did much for me. When I was older and found out what they actually were, that was it for me and pork skins.

I had a friend of mine that loved them, so I was going to try one, and I found a hair on it. Yuck. I didn't eat that one, and never have eaten one since.

Sure many times. One of my favorite ways is to cook them in red or green chili until they soften up and have them in a taco.
