  • Leave them in the bunch on the counter top at room temp. DO NOT PLACE IN FRIDGE; they'll go bad faster than you can say "Bananarama".
  • keep out on the countertop..however you can freeze bananas in their skins...the peels will darken but the banana will be fine inside ---but the texture will have changed...but they are fine to use in cooking.
  • They will stay fresher when you hang them at room temperature. They make special hangers for bananas now - works wonders.
  • No fridge or anything that will enclose them like a bag.
  • Bananas should be hung at room temperature till they are ripe( they are a tropical fruit) after that you can put them in the fridge and it will slow the ripen process. The tops will become darker but the banana will be fresh.
