if they can hear you ,yes.
-
Absolutely not. People need to stop being so f*cking sensitive.
-
I think only if they are having weight problems, and you know how hard they are trying to fix it. P.S.: Especially if you talk about how much you LOVE bacon! LoL!
-
i don't think it's rude, if you love food you love food. i've been very thin all my life. people used to call anorexic. only because they didn't know the word bulimic. i eat all the time.
-
How is it rude? Anyone else is agreeing with you on the inside, even if they don't act like it on the outside.
-
NO, I'm 86 lbs & I never get hungry but when people talk about food, it gets me hungry & that's what I need
-
i don't think so. it would be rude to sit and talk about how fat people should eat less and "how could the let themselves go like that?" that type of thing.
-
In some instances, people just have a faster metabolism than others. My daughter used to have a hard time putting on weight. She was a size Zero. She joined the Marines and they taught her how to gain. When she returned from boot camp, she was a size five.
-
no...its not my fault i love food and i eat an entire pizza for lunch every day and i am thin....
-
No, I cannot see why .
-
I don't think so, I am thin, love to cook, love to eat, and love to talk about it. I work hard to stay slim and just like someone else mentioned, people need to grow up and take responsibility. If a fat person is around me, I hope that he/she will be spurred to stop living an unhealthy lifestyle. Now I SURELY don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, but I am not going to censor my discussions about food in the presence of heavier people. :)
-
nope.. why would it be rude...
-
I don't think it is.
-
No, people just incorrectly assume that all thin people are healthy and happy with their bodies. The same goes for some bigger people - not all "bigger" people are unhealthy or unhappy with themselves.
-
I think it's rude if they're talking that way in front of you, on purpose. Or they could be slightly embarrassed, and saying these things to lighten up the situation.
-
the only reason i can think of that talking about food would be concidered rude is if you knew someone was on a diet and you were talking about doughnuts and cake or such things
-
No, but being under weight myself, it's rude for someone to ask if you're sick because you're so skinny. That's happened to me SO MANY times
-
If you know they're trying to lose weight/not eat so much, then yes.
-
Hell no. Is thinness something that has to be covered up and apologized for these days?
-
Enjoying your food and talking about how much you are enjoying it is NOT rude! Your size should have nothing to do with it! : O )
-
NO
-
It only bothers me when skinny people complain about how fat they're getting.
-
No. But people will twist anything whatever way they want. I wouldn't decide to not talk about something because someone might make some relation to it with something that shouldn't have anything to do with it.
-
Of course not. You shouldn't have to tip-toe around people just because you have a higher metabolism and good genes. I know I don't. Besides, I have a healthy appetite so I can't hide it. I wasn't always this way. I used to lie about exercising all the time. It's not true. I never exercise.
