• I think the best thing to do with it is to grind it up and use it as chili meat with a little onion and red pepper, cumin, garlic. It's great! Or you could slice it thin and pound it like cube steak. Dredge it and fry quickly. Make a gravy, maybe with ketchup or horseradish. Nice with rice.

  • This is supposed to be the "Original" coney island hot dog chili. At least it tastes like it. 5 lb beef heart grated twice, very lean ground beef (like from round), or finely ground venison 2 tbsp garlic powder 2 tsp cumin seed 2 tsp paprika 5 tsp chili powder salt-pepper to taste enough water to cover Brown beef or venison in a large pan or dutch oven. Make sure it is well broken up. Pour enough water in to cover completely. Add all other ingredients and simmer 2-3 hours.
