Not to be so gullible. They dropped off one of their pamphlets and I almost laughed for 5 minutes straight. I saw lambs and lions lying with each other. I understand this is from the bible, but it is not literal but figurative of types of people. I feel bad for their poor children.

I suppose I (they?) have altered my beliefs in the sense I now believe it's wrong to go knocking on the door trying to 'recruit' people to your faith. Especially when you have specifically asked them to quit calling and they do it to the point it could be labelled 'harassment'.

I actually had one knock on my door and ask if I had found Jesus, I said "Yes, I have him locked in the basement, would you like to met him?". They never knocked on my door again.

With all the crazies out there, can you imagine how we hope we are being protected when we knock on a strangers door? Each day we pray for Jehovah's support. Some brothers have been shot while carrying out this work...

I think I understand what you are trying to ask. Have you ever altered your beliefs/opions because of the teachings the Jehovah's Witnesses have in the Bible. Yes. If your GF was a Jehovah's Witness, she would not be smoking.

Jehova's witnesses managed to alter my belief in being curteous to everyone that comes knocking on my door. They can be so stubborn. Can be? No... rephrase, the ones in my neighborhood ARE stubborn. I no longer open the door to strangers. If I'm not expecting you, I'm not home!

A fair comment...but could you please leavea note or advise the closest Kingdom Hall that you do not want us to call...and we will not. But about every six months, one of the elders in your area will check on you...to see if you still live there so we can call on the NEW tenant or owner.

Not my religious beliefs, but I have changed one small aspects of my beliefs on reality because of the actions of some particular Jehovah's Witnesses. Because of the witnesses in question, I now believe that those particular Jehovah's Witnesses are unreasonably closed-minded nimrods who refuse to take no for an answer and seem to have very little respect for the beliefs of others. Other than that, no, I haven't.

They helped me to understand the Bible and I learned what God requires of his people and what He will provide for them in the future. That knowledge (coupled with my own personal research) helped me to make an informed decision about my beliefs.

The end is close...(2 Timothy 3:1-5) But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having an appearance of godliness but proving false to its power; and from these turn away. President Trump is now friendly with China...a big step in the direction of all the world's governments getting together to give POWER to the ' beast' [ the U.N. ] and for it to destroy the world's religions...to them the cause of all their problems... (Revelation 17:17) For God put it into their hearts to carry out his thought, yes, to carry out their one thought by giving their kingdom to the wild beast, until the words of God will have been accomplished.
