1999 gmc sierra. the engine misfires and lightly backfires when under heavier load (ac on going up a hill) ive replaced fuel filter, air filter, plugs and wires. thanks !

Hi, My 97 Jimmy won't start. Battery seems to be fine, on charger now, just in case. All I get when I turn the ignition is a fast clicking noise. What can I check? Suggestions?

I have a 1988 GMC 1500. It seems to idle fine but when I push on the gas it sputters and dies. Changed the fuel filter and spark plugs. Cleaned the distributer cap and rotor contacts. I have good fuel flow into the carb. Tested injectors - 1.6 ohms each

I need the fault codes for my 1997 GMC Jimmy 4x4, 4-door. I also need to know what they mean. We are trying to troubleshoot what we think is a bad fuel pump.

I have a 1995 Gmc Van with the vortec V6 engine. Engine starts, but will onlu run if I continually press the accelerator. Took it to a garage and they cannot figure out why there are problems with fuel starving. Anyone familiar with this problem?

99 GMC jimmy with climate control. Fluctuating battery drain with RDO/Batt fuse 19 in. Removed only faint light from test light. HVAC control module suspect, but unsure why drain would be fluctuating every second or two. Thoughts on how to narrow down?

Why wont a standard tranny shift into gear on a 97 gmc 4.3l v6. It starts but just grinds. The clutch pedel has no resistance

I have a 1988 GMC 1500 High Sierra and it has been running extremely rough whenever I have to slow down then accelerate it seems to want to die. It seems to help to turn off and start again. check engine light comes on at times and stays on

I HAVE A 99 SUBURBAN 5.7 L 4X4. IT WONT TURN OVER.THE FUEL PUMP IS WORKING.WHEN I TURN THE KEY OFF THE PUMP STAYS ON LONGER THEN USUAL.IT STARTED DOING THIS THE OTHER DAY WHEN IT GOT COLD,COULD MY LINES BE FROZE UP

My 1993 GMC Sierra 4x4 with an automatic trans. shifts very hard from low to second but shifts fine the rest of the way up through the rest of the gears. What could the problem be?

I have a 1988 GMC Safari van.The brake lights don't work. I checked the fuses and the bulbs, but can find no reason why they aren't working. What else could be the cause?
