Can I change the TPS (throttle positioning sensor) on my throttle body without changing the whole TBI? I have a 1993 GMC 5.7 L.

www.napaonline.com shows the tps as a separate unit, and is available through them for around $40.

Yes...It is a small piece of plastic that is held on by 2 screws and one electrical connector on the side of the tbi. I replaced one just the other day on a 91 gmc 4.3L
