  • How many psychiatrists does it take to change a lightbulb? Just one, but the bulb has to WANT to change. You are the only one you can fix. You can't change others, nor should you try. What you can work on is limitless, but you have to want it. Do you want to learn another language? Do you want to collect money? Do you want to collect cars, or flowers, or poetry? Would you like to build your body, your mind, both? A kid in NY made 100 hats for the homeless. I made a few BCAR (breast cancer awareness ribbon) scarves with crochet. I'm sure the local homeless shelter would let you help serve a meal. Oh, since you're sympathetic to the feelings of others you might want to check where the nearest NAMI meeting is and see if there is anyone there that needs your help. You could volunteer at the nearest rehab center. Your empathy may be just what they need!

Well said. That applies to some people on Answerbag and to others on different websites
  • Generosity. You can start working on that by sending me $50 in cash today and encouraging all your friends to do the same. I'll be waiting to see your progress.

Ha ha. As if that’s going to happen. I make donations to charities and not to a stranger online who is asking for money. I am generous in a certain way by making donations and giving some loose change to a homeless person now and again just in case you think I’m not generous.
  • Relaxation. Nowadays, life has become very fast and hectic.
