  • I think many people find a strong ambitious smart woman does not fit with their idea of what a woman is, and thus find it intimidating.
  • I don't. I think she would make a good president...but then again I did vote for Bush so maybe it's better I don't vote at all....
  • She's not looking so hot these days, the wrinkles have gone far beyond just setting in and that ass isn't like it used to be. This is the only logical answer.
  • Well, I don't really have a say in it - not being American - But I'd say that Most don't like her because she's a ultra-conservative in Liberal Clothing. Well, that And take a look at her political bedfellows - Michel Moore(Clinical Narcissist and Master Propagandist) and Jack Thompson(Senile Lunatic from Miami) just for two. Need I say more?
  • Because they don't want a woman to be President and they can't go against her qualifications or put forward a sexist viewpoint, so they say that they just hate her.
  • I may be wrong, but I don't see her as a credible, serious, mature enough person to be our next President. I remember when she wore that NY Yankees hat and said that "she always loved the Yankees". Everyone knew that was all political BS. She was not from that area. If she was ever a baseball fan she was either a Cubs or White Sox fan. She came out as the typical politician who will do whatever it takes to gain votes and attention. Not from me, I shall say..
  • My impression is that those who don't hate her "just because" see her as an excessively opportunistic politician who is more interested in power for power's sake than in implementing a set of political principles. For example, her move to New York to become one of that state's Senators seems extremely cynical and self-serving.
  • I don't hate her. I feel sorry for her and I would never vote for her. I don't agree with her platform, plain and simple.
  • hillary clinton has lost her credibility to be in the white house a second time.
  • Because she is a phony. She wants to lead the US yet doesn't have the courage to get rid of a whoremongering husband, or what ever he is. She is an incredible liar and a communist.
  • I distrust her, and believe she not only has bad policies and ideas, but is dangerous because of bad policies. I also think she is more interested in her own power than actually serving anyone. Not that she is alone amongst politicians, but the question was about her not the rest of them. I think the Democrats could do themselves a serivce by finding more of the blue collar Harry Truman type to run instead of people who seem to pay too much attention to Michael Moorer or any of the looney fringe groups trying to dictate policy to the party.
  • think of the millions that have died because of socialism. It is bad, and the constant downplaying that socialism is a viable option is scary. You still forgot to mention the millions liberated under Bush too. Freedom costs, and that is an ugly reality. If you want to see the damage of socialism just look at Stalin, Hitler, and Castro. The disease is starting to spread in SOuth America now too with Chavez in Venezuela. People need to wake up before it is too late. Socialism is that bad!
  • two words: Hillary Clinton.
  • I've never liked her. She comes across as phony, pompous, cold, and arragant. I hate to say this, but I don't blame her husband for cheating on her with Monica.
  • She is leading in the poles so I don't even know why you would ask such a question.
  • The amazing thing is the number of Democrats who think she's only one step up from the devil. I'm a Republican and I don't call her half of the things that many Democrats call her. If you ask me, though, it's because I believe she'd sell out America to the highest bidder, and is looking for a chance to do so, and that what she really wants is to turn over America to the UN in exchange for being a Secretary General with an army and taxing power.
  • According to "Sicko" she takes contributions of over $700 thousand from the private medical insurance companies to keep her mouth shut. She tried years earlier to promote universal health care.If that is how dishonest she is ,and supports private medicine I want nothing to do with her.
  • Hitler WAS the head of the National SOCIALIST Party, which is what NAZI stand for, so I guess that doesn't make him a SOCIALIST. If you people are so in favor of the socialist system, why are you living in the US? I know if the US became a socialist country, I as a capitalist would find somewhere else to go. Mr. Witch, I agree with some of your points, but I wold not agree that Castro hasn't done his own damage to CUba, he still had the Russians and CHinese to trade with, the US cannot be the scapegoat alone for Cuba. I think that you do have a reasoned response to the issue though and I appreciate that instead of just name calling and silliness that often takes place in here.
  • She comes off as fake, and I believe that she has her own agendas. She is not in it for the American people, she is in it to show the world that she's strong after her Husband cheated on her, and she believes that will win her the election. In truth, she just as much an arrogant capitalist as the next runner up, only she's a woman, which gives her even more arrogance because she thinks she's breaking ground with her policies and by running.
  • I don't like her of dislike her. She really has no relevance at all for me. I do enjoy the Americans getting worked up about such things though.
  • What's to like?
  • People who dislike Senator Clinton say a number of things when asked what they don't admire about her -- split to a degree between mentions that deal mostly with her personal characteristics, and those that deal with her positions on the issues. Polls indicate that experience is Hillary Rodham Clinton’s leading virtue, and I believe that she is a trooper, she knows what she wants, she knows her opinions and she is not afraid to voice them. If a brilliant, educated, opinionated woman makes people nervous, then I know why she is so disliked.
  • Not a thing... besides being a smart, strong woman in politics.
  • First of all, it may be that Hillary Clinton's popularity among the general US populace is much higher than her media coverage would indicate. As the apparent Democratic favorite in the upcoming 2008 Presidential election, Fox Noise and other right-wing-oriented media outlets in the US have started their negative campaigning against her. On a deeper level, I believe Hillary Clinton has overused the political strategy of triangulation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triangulation_%28politics%29 Therefore, it is difficult to pin down what her political principles and philosophies are from her public statements. This makes it easy for people to project upon Hillary their worst fears about what she MAY do. Frequently, she is portrayed as radically left-wing when in fact her voting record is relatively centrist. Since most Americans only know what they see on television, her actual record gets left out of the discussion. Full disclosure: I am relatively left-wing politically and am NOT a fan of Hillary Clinton. But I think the much of the vitriol against her is completely overblown.
  • I oppose all her political positions, and I think she would be a horrible president. That's why I'm against her.
  • I don't. I don't even know her.:)
  • I don't hate her, I hate her ideology. Big difference.
  • Because they refuse to learn what she actually stands for. Its like the lesbian chick that no one talks to in catholic school. No one cares who she really is and what she really believes. Its just kinda the norm to hate her.
  • Bill told me she doesn't give BJ's... RELAX... IT WAS A JOKE!!
  • Amongst many things... she showed every young female in the world that you should "stand by your man" even if he cheats on you and humiliates you in front of the entire world.
  • I don't.
  • I find most ''shady'' lawyers despicable. They are only surpassed in their level of repulsiveness by politicians. She is both.
  • The question is : Why do people like Hilary Clinton?
  • Not everyone hates her ... some do, some do not. Those that do hate her have many varied reasons ... some just hate her because she is a woman trying to be president, some are racist and hate her because she is white, some hate her for her religion, some hate her for her political views ... and then there are those who hate without a reason ... Those who hate, sometimes have a reason but seldom require a reason, in fact hatred is an unreasonable emotion in itself ... it is better to just prefer the other than to hate the one. As a Canadian, what little I know of the various "wanna be" presidential runners, I would actually like to see her elected by a slim couple of votes.
  • She is a phoney person but so all damn near all politicians.
  • Everyone? I did not realize that I hated her!?!? Who else do I hate?
  • "G'day Quinny",.........Over here in OZ,we all luv Hillary more than Billary does. And OZZYGOB is personally cummmmming over there to perform "sekskuwall relashunz with that woman" to show old BILLARY BOY how to reeeeelly, reeeeeeelly treat a PRESIDENT....... 'AND THE CIGARS ARE ON ME !'........and errmm, any drycleaning bills YEEHAH!! HILLARY FOR PRES! eeeeerz cheeeerz wiv a luvin spoonful from Presidential Aide................. and an alarmingly aroused OZZYGOB ! ! ps,,,,,,HILLARY will be even more sexier when she becomes FEMALE 'KING' OF THE UNIVERSE. Smirky George is,was,is,stil is, the biggest universal dickhead of the universe !............."Wotsay you to that, dear Quinny.Agree or negative ?"
  • Personally, I dont understand the hatred towards Hillary. In fact, if she became President, the country would be a hell of alot better off then we are now. Some people think that because she is a woman that therefore she would be too emotional and weak. I have to dissagree. Clinton, in every debate proves that she is just as tough as the men. Romney, although now he has dropped out, was the one who couldnt control his emotions, majority of the republican debates he lost his cool, laughing, throwing his hands around, meanwhile McCain kept control. So to say she is emotional, is just bull shit. Another thing is that Hillary is a strong independent woman. While Bill was in office she didnt stand around and look pretty, for example, like First Lady Reagan did. Hillary actually worked. It is abundantly clear that radical conservatives dislike strong independent women. I think Clinton haters are just intimidated by her strength and acheivements. But for those who listen to Rush Limbaugh religiously, and im sorry if you do, and continue to think Hillary is just god awful, then you really need a clear head, and a wake up call, and to start thinking for yourself, instead of listening to radical propaganda. Instead of being a radical (on either side!) people should start thinking for themselves, and thinking about what IS BEST for the country. Not what some political talk/radio show host says. Dont we live in the country where we are allowed to think for ourselves?? Then why dont we do it for a change.
  • By observation...the Clintons have endeared themselves to many and are "hated" by many...if we recall the vitriolic rhetoric of the 1990s directed at the Clintons, it is easy to accept this as a fact...many "hate" the Clintons without any rational thought or clear picture of who they are. One cannot separate Bill from Hillary nor Hillary from Bill. They are a political team, no matter what anyone says to the contrary. We have not seen this sort of political alliance before and as a result it scares many of us. Hillary's refusal to compromise her positions and values in order to endear more voters is/will be her undoing. With about 50% of possible adult voters going to the polls and with most of the latter being pretty much uninformed or at least poorly informed about issues (getting all of their information from the 6 o'clock news) these voters vote their hearts. They pay lip service to being interested in the issues and in the privacy of the voting booth vote for the candidates they "like". Hillary is not a public figure who has made herself "likable" to the populous. Most sadly, Hillary is not a Progressive (nor is Obama) and with either of them or with McCain as president it will be pretty much "business as usual".
  • I believe it is because they fear a Clinton in the White House again and don't know how much influence Bill will have.
  • I think a lot of people dislike her because she is a strong, vocal, forceful woman and sometimes (often) that just rubs people the wrong way. A man displaying those same qualities is seen as a driving force in the business world, but in a woman, it constitutes bitchiness.
  • 3 words - liberal, liar, ugly
  • Because people would rather see this guy:
  • Because it'd be pretty hard to insert a cigar through a male intern's penis.
  • Perhaps it's her lack of personality, cold calculating attiude, distrust due to her involvement in homicides and other criminal activity, or perhaps it's that she married Slick Willy, a lieing crook. Anyway you look at it, she's not to be trusted, but that's only my opinion.
  • SHE MAKES ME SICK!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, people who can process what her camp has been doing... Clintonianisms- renaming/double talking, lies and manipulations. At the moment they are working to force votes over to the GOP; so that Obama losses the nomination... She nows that Republicians are out there voting for her so they have a better chance!!! like she'll win or something!!! Florida & Michigan went against the DNC and should deal with it!! People did not go out to vote because they were told it would not count!! I know that there are a lot of tards in this country due to the public school system, but OMG! This important position should be treated with much more respect!! Sneaks should never be president!!!
  • YES, YES SHE DOES MAKE ME SICK!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, people who can process what her camp has been doing... Clintonianisms- renaming/double talking, lies and manipulations. • Because it is so easy to do.
  • It is not because she is woman, so please don't try and marginalize my dislike for that reason. (Both of our Senators (Maine) are women, and I have voted for each of them. One a Democrat, the other a Republican. So please don't give me the "you dislike her because she's a smart woman" crap. I know and have supported plenty of smart women.) I dislike her because she will say or do anything to win political victory; she has never taken a position that is not "poll driven" (just like her husband); she "flip flops" more than most politicians; she and her political handlers were arrogant -- she acted as if she was the presumptive nominee until she lost to Obama in Iowa and assumed the whole campaign would be wrapped up by Super Tuesday; as Ann Richard said about Bush '41, she "woke up on third and thought she hit a triple" -- face it, if she weren't Bill Clinton's wife and didn't have the "Clinton brand" recognition, she would be just another junior senator from NY; and, finally, I don't think we need a pseudo-monarchy of Bush/Clinton/Bush/Clinton for 24-28 years -- its time for a change!
  • No one likes a pushy woman.
