  • Ouija boards are not instruments that can give you "magic" answers, but they have a legitimate entertainment value. If you read the disclaimer on the box and instructions, you will see that they are strictly for entertainment only.
  • I don't know what to think about Ouija boards. When I was kid, I had one and I had some strange experiences. For one thing, the planchette moved by itself. Another thing, I got addicted to asking questions. I think they could be a portal for spirits to enter through. If they are, then that's not a good thing.
  • It's kind of like the guy who invented the back pad with mystical healing powers. In reality, it was just a back pad with 3 normal metal rods in it. But he sold nearly 900,000 of them at $45 a pop. Do the math. Americans will buy anything. Doc Pirelli's Magical Elixer comes to mind too =)
  • Ouij boards are real. My mother went over to a friends house and they went to her friends house and the lady told my mom things that even her friend didnt know about her. Mom said there would never be one in our home.
  • ouija boards are real. I have seen them. Do I think they work? no. how would the people at Milton Bradly games and toys know anything about black magic?
  • they sell them not because they are real or not, they sell them because people buy them.
  • I think they are only as real as you want them to be.
  • Belief is a powerful weapon or tool. If you believe strongly enough, and have ANY kind of ability, a glass on a table can do the same thing as an Ouija Board. Do I believe they do what they say? Yes. I've seen it in action, strongly. To the point of wrapping it in a silk nightgown and burning it.
