There is probably over a hundred different insects in my back yard right now...I live in the south...

mosquitoes cuz I was just bit... and cicadas cuz I can hear them.

I know there is one "BIG" spider out there. I see him everytime I come in at night. Waiting....in his web...for that poor unsuspecting other insect that's out there to become trapped and later devoured. So it is... the life of the insect as we know it. How sad!

Ground beetles and crickets, my frogs love them and they are hunting them now.

From what I've seen, butterflies, ants, flies, and gnats. There could be some pill bugs under some of the rocks. As far as other arthropods go I have spiders, and probably some millipedes and centipedes.

A grasshopper...he hopped right in front of me on my way into the house tonight.

Beetles, ants, ladybirds, aphids, bees, wasps, stick insects, possible dung beetles and shield bugs and maybe the odd hornet.

Snail, woodlice, spiders, grubs, who know probably all of those!

Lots of grasshoppers everywhere, never saw so many.

Grasshoppers, wasps, praying mantises, beetles, and most likely many others.

Don't know their names..but they' here. We observe them partying heartily when they think we're not watching.

So many Sm00z I'll have to go with the most prolific. Ants,tiny black one's, millions of the little blighters.

I KNOW there are mounds of red, fire ants that will tear you up! The little communists!
