• drinking milk beforehand coats the stomach and slows the absorbtion of alcohol. I've found those anti-hangover pills work pretty good too. Personally, one of the simpler way would be to upgrade what you're drinking. Higher quality booze = less impurites for your body to process. Better known as pay now or pay later. Drink water. Let's say you're doing shots of...Jager. Every 6 shots or so, drink a glass of water in order to counteract the fluid your losing. Then go back to doing shots. Know your body. Know what it can and can't handle. For example, mine can't handle tequila. So I don't drink it. Period. Knowledge is Power. Power corrupts. Study hard and be evil. Hae fn drinking!

  • Don't drink so much alcohol that you get drunk. What I do and it seems to help is this: drinks lots of water before going out to drink, take advil before drinking and then again before bed. Dehydration causes most of the hangover problems.

  • First of all, to all those other people who evaded the question by replying "just don't drink", you people really are clever. Anyway to answer your question danmyme, I always have a huge glass of Berocca just before going to bed, failing that, a glass of water is really good too.

  • Mmm if you want to avoid a hangover, just stay permanently drunk!! Now for the serious answer. I've heard that drinking lots of water is good, as you won't be as dehydrated. I can give you a list of things that don't work.... Coffee won't fix it, and neither will a large breakfast or a cold shower. Breathmints are also relatively stupid.
