  • We do on Bonfire Night and New Year:-)
  • Not in NY! If you fire them off you can be charged!
  • No, i'm sorry but the noise scares my animals shitless, it sounds like baghdad round here on the 5th, but it keeps going on for days after. Why do they have to bang anyway i only want to see the 'pretty' in the sky (as i call it). I know what i would like to do with them there rockets.
  • if they are not the massive super ultra big ones they are fine in some states
  • At xmas or halloween definitely but any other time of the year no its just annoying ! :)
  • Yes;) As long as you are careful;) There Illegal here if they Bang;) Fountains and queit ones are Legal;) We bought some in missouri before we came back home;)
  • I have no problem with things like sparklers for kids. But then adolesence comes along and kids just get stupid. So more of my tax dollars are spent rushing a stupid 15 boy to the hospital to try to sew his thumb back on, or the Fire Department is putting out a fire because billy-bob thought it would be fun to have a roman candle fight with his neighbor. And let's not forget the introduction of alcohol for adults, that always helps judgement.
  • No ! It's way too dry here . I don't want to lose my home, property and animals to a fire because some irresponsible ignorant moron is shooting off fireworks. In fact, the use of fireworks has been banned and is illegal in this county because of the drought conditions.
  • Yes as long as it is not really loud in the middle of the night.
  • I think it's legal here. I think as long as you are respectful to others (including the wildlife)...why not?
  • It's illegal, but people do it anyway. I have a very dry field just about 15 feet from my apartment, so I get very nervous this time of year about fires in general, let alone caused by illegal fireworks.
  • No, I've lived too long in areas of great fire danger and have had too many animals around me to think it's a good idea. They are way too dangerous and loud. Better to let the pros put on a free awesome display.
  • YES!!! It's funny there are few things that are more patriotic here in America than blowing something up and the loss of that right to PC "protectors" who think that they know better than I do what I should and should not be allowed to do! Total crock of BS!!! But even if you do it you should remember to be respectful of your neighbors and to nature!
  • I'm a big supporter of fireworks, but I have the mind of an 11 year old when it comes to stuff like this. So yeah, it's probably better that I don't have say over things like that. =P
  • I'd love to, but being in a heavily suburbanized area,I shouldn't be able to.
  • Yes, and I do. (Any cops around yo?...;)
  • Umm we do.All summer long on Sunday nights. The neighbours all pitch in and we get together and drink and be merry.
  • This is a difficult question with a massive grey area. I'd love to say yes, with no exceptions, but the facts are that some people simply don't have the responsibility required to be using them. It's a shame to see someone's house go up in flames because another person was irresponsible. I think if you're in a built up area there should be some limitations based on public safety but they shouldn't be completely illegal.
  • No, not around here. Because around this time of year when fireworks are most likely to be used we are usually in the middle of a drought. I've lived here 18 years and at least half of them the fireworks have had to be delayed because of the conditions. Central Florida is prone to wild fires and we get more than enough of them from the punks playing with matches.
  • Nah, too many crazy people would hurt their neighbors or burn things. Plus it's more fun to do it & know you shouldn't.
  • It is legal here except for the things that go bang and rockets. You can shoot more if you leave the city limits. If you go to Missouri or South Dakota you can get big ones that are NOT legal at all in our state.
  • Only if you start of with a roman candle, only kidding....No, it's dangerous, NY state says so, so it must be true!!!!
  • I suppose so,although I think they're obnoxiously loud and never quite up to par as those that you would go to see somewhere.
  • I am so bringing fireworks to the next FBB party. I can show you a neat little trick that may or may not blow up your garbage can...
  • Well, I live in the city, and it's illegal. It's just too dangerous with everyone so close together. That doesn't stop some morons from doing it, though. We have family that live out in more rural areas where it's legal. my s/o is having surgery July 1st this year, though....so we'll be staying at home.
  • Yes! But it's illegal here. :(
  • Not Illegal here! But may leave the body FUBAR
  • Yes, I see fireworks here, all the time. You just have to be responsible.
  • I can, anytime of the year. Are some places not allowed?
  • No. People have a right to their own personal space. Shooting fireworks invades everyones privacy, especially when fireworks set your neighbors house on fire. Then, you better run for cover.
  • As long as nothing flamable or any sound waves cross the property line and you've waived the use of the fire department.
  • No, unless you're a licensed demoliton expert and firefighter and fire rescue individual!
  • It depends on the type. in general i would say yes
  • they should be, wouldnt it stimulate the economy a bit, if a bunch of people went out and bought fireworks. at least the local economy
  • Sure as long as you don't do it after say 11 pm. And I'd appreciate it if the kids in the apartment complex across the street from my house would quit lighting bricks of firecrackers off all at once. I'm really getting tired of the cops going over there and running them off. Only to have them pick up were they left off 30 minutes later.
  • Responsible adults don't shoot off fireworks! They're too busy doing other more interesting things!
  • Yes. Playing with explosives is fun :)
  • i dont think so, it can land on an innocent person, i know cause i had one almost land on me one time
