No. We installed our icemaker ourselves. One night I heard a noise-water. I wasn't sure what it was...so I asked my husband to look into it. It took me 20 minutes to get him to get his sleepy butt up to investigate. After all it could have been a burglar making racket. The hose disconnected and flooded the kitchen. He wished he would have gotten up the first time I asked. It was a double edged sword since he installed it. Poor guy. We still don't have an operating ice-maker.

Our last fridge did and we never hooked it up..never..not once! That fridge died (after only 6 years..our prior one lasted 25 years) and so we have a brand new simple straightforward uncomplicated econobox plainwrap fridge..no bells and whistles..we love it! :)
