The beast in me is a dangerous one and I never let him out. He is chained and hidden deep inside. He is dark and evil and I cannot destroy him but I can keep him mostly sedated. I learned to do this at a very young age. I knew if I did not it would lead to no good and I would get into very deep trouble. When I was younger exercise worked well. I tried boxing and hitting the heavy bag really helped as did road work, those long runs were good for that. Now some chocolate works pretty good.

If it's really bad, I walk around the block, or if the pool is heated, I might take a swim. Other wise, a hot shower. If no other outlet is available, I take a few deep breaths and go in the bathroom to read.

I just sit down and vent for a bit and 30 mins. later I am over it and moving on. I don't get real uptight about much and if I do then I am really HOT under the collar. But unless it was a personal attack on my family or me....I don't do much about it. Rolls off my back.
