I don't think there really is a finish line to meeting this criteria, achieving unconditional love is a life time comment. Love I believe is something that a couple builds upon their entire life.

Yes each and every day of the 2 years I was with my late fiancee. She made me feel truly and unconditionally loved even at the times I was a total ass to her and didn't deserve her love.

Yes, my son has been ill all his life which causes him and us great frustration. He is a real challenge. He could try the patience of Job, but of course I am his mum and nothing he could do would make me love him any less because my love for him is unconditional on his good behaviour, or anything else. It just is.

From my parents and siblings. The only agenda operating is one of kinship. Any other love has its conditions. That doesn't at *any level* imply that it's a superior or inferior love. Different dynamics altogether.
