no. i do find it annoying when some people try to 'save my soul'.

i dont really class myself as an athiest because to give myself a lable is to say my belief is not to believe, which its not i just dont believe in anything that cant be scientifically proven or at least have a theory better than some guy in the sky pulling all the strings. and yes it is annoying when poeple try to save my soul or preach crap to me, but i dont ever try to preach my athiestic beliefs on them because again that would make me just as bad as them. look at it this way if you label yourself an athiest and then run around preaching your disbelief to every one that talks to you about god does that not just make you as bad as them. i dont believe everyone needs to be converted to athiesm or that because they believe in god they must be stupid, i just dont care each to their own. having said that there was this one guy trying to tell me i should take my son to his church and they could make his distended testicle drop to where it should be through prayer, he got a little annoying and i ended up having to just tell him to f**k off and what he is telling people that need medical care would either hurt or kill them if they decided not to seek medical attention and go to church instead.

Actually, a lot of atheists say they are atheists when they are actually mistheists. They believe in God--but they hate Him. (Misogynist, man who hates woman; misogamist, one who hates marriage; mistheist, one who hates God.) A true atheist shouldn't hate God any more than he hates Zeus, Baal or Vishnu.

Yes, I find it very annoying that people think atheists are immoral and/or worship satan. My mother thinks they are pure walking evildoers. Lucky for her she doesn't know I am one, she would have a heart attack.

Nope. My biggest pet peeve is that many otherwise clever theists assume that I have no moral compass without a god to steer me through life. It's such an amazing assumption. They also assume I am unhappy or in need of guidance and I am not. They assume I have no faith in anything when, in spite of it all I still have faith in the kindness of my fellow human beings. It's rather depressing at times. I don't spend any time wondering why I am here or what the meaning of my life is. I've got that fairly well squared-away but people do make assumptions about all that. Earnest and irritating. That has been my experience of theists reacting to my professed lack of religion or religious feeling.

I find it annoying when people assume that since I don't worship the same god as them, I must worship the devil. I also find it annoying when people (usually Christians)try and convert me, or assume that as I am an Atheist, I must have no morals or values, I must hate all religious people, and I MUST NOT be open to new ideas about anything. *sigh*

It's kind of hard to answer as a fellow atheist, because there is not really such a thing. All of the millions upon millions of people on the earth that do not believe in a god cannot really be called fellows of mine. It is sad that many theists are so sadly uninformed about a lot of things.
