Ceylon Pekoe: The teapot is pre-heated with some boiling water. The tea, of course, is loose and I use about a tea-spoon (a measuring teaspoon, not one from the kitchen drawer.) The water is just at the boil, and the tea is steeped for 3-4 minutes. (four minutes if you like it strong, as I do) Milk and sugar are poured in the cup BEFORE the tea. Enjoy.

I prefer loose tea from a tea store rather than mass produced tea in tea bags. I let the tea stay in my cup with the water until I have finished drinking it. Most tea I drink is good with either honey or organic sugar. It is safe to assume I love my tea really strong...No cream or milk of any kind either.
