  • We watched it for the first couple of seasons but it did start seeming staged. Watched part of the "Halloween Live" special, and they were really stretching to get ratings. Who was the wrestler special guest guy? I think they've jumped the shark.
  • Yeah, while channel surfing -- it's staged... :)
  • I watched a couple of times the first season, but couldn't see anything that didn't look fake. Then, tonite, I checked in cause I have always wanted to go thru a "ghost hotel or hospital", and this sanitorium seemed interesting, (I mean, 63,000 DEATHS, WOW!). But, that first BORING hour just killed me! So, I think I shall not waste my time there anymore.
  • I saw portions of it. Got bored, kind of like a "did you see that" and no real supernatural stuff going on. Maybe it was a bad episode but I found it of very little entertainment value.
  • I've seen it enough to realize that it's as fake as a faith healer.
  • yes that show is fake.
  • I wouldn't call it "fake" but they exaggerate everything. A fly in the room becomes a demon flying by. They emphasize everything into something.
  • I watched it and it has to be the flakiest show I have ever seen,A lot of screaming and running from dust bunnies and lent balls, oooooh so scary.
  • Man, I think all the stuff is fake. I've only seen it a few times.
  • There's a rational explanation for everything. Did you notice that whenever they "hear" voices or get "touched" by something, the camera moves around dramatically alot but nothin is ever seen. And there is likely a good explanation for some of the stranger phenomena such as the moving chair in the lighthouse and the "sheet monster" in that one prison (forgot the name)
  • i love that show!!! and mostlikely
  • i like to think that its real.
  • When the show first started I thought they were all pretty honest with their explanations of "phenomina" but I think the more and more popular the show became, they started to take themselves way too seriously!!!!Now , not an episode goes by without one guy or another saying "OOOHHH what was that?, Did you hear that?, Did you feel that?"
  • I, along with millions of other people, it is in big demand. To answer your question, no I don't think they are fake, because they never find anything. Paranomal State on A&E now they find things. Great Show!!! Both GHOST HUNTERS and PARANOMAL STATE are great shows, if you believe in the paranomal.
  • I've seen it before, and I think that the places they go to have valid reasons for being explored, and I do believe in ghosts but...yeah the shows a fake.
  • No, I dont think so. I like those guys, i think they have alot of integrity and are really looking for the truth. They didn't start off looking for a tv show...they just did it as a hobby.
  • yes, fake-scripted
  • Some? I tell ya what... WHen they open the Sphynx up, if there is actually what that guy said was under there... I will watch religiously and never say anything bad about that show ever again... But until then, They really need to get a grip if they expect us to fall for that junk!
  • I love that show. Jason, Grant, Steve and Tango seem very sincere. I think it's real because it's quite vague. I think that demons pretend to be ghosts but that is a whole other subject.
  • I don't believe in ghosts but I keep open mind, I watch shows like this but I always know for a fact that they will not find anything definitive. EVEN if they did and the show is in fact not faked do you really think television companies and the governemnt would allow this to be shown? Think of the chaos it would throw christian, and other groups into to confirm prrof of an afterlife or ghosts. It would never be allowed on tv. all of these shows build up hype and deliver nothing that can be confirmed.
  • Another thing about the show that I noticed is that they tell you what you should be seeing in an image instead of just suggesting that there might be something and letting you pick it out for yourself.
  • I believe all those shows are utterly retarded. I don't believe in ghosts as a Christian. Spirits maybe, but the hidden cameras and constant success with communication with the "otherside" enough to host a TV series...please. So easily staged, so ignorantly believed. Yes angels and demons are trapped in all these buildings and homes and they talk to these ghost experts and answer with knocks on the wall or lights or temperature changes. DUMB DUMB DUMB! I'd rather watch the jewelry channel...and that is some boring stuff, let me tell ya.
  • I have never seen 'Ghost Hunters', but I have watches Paranormal State before. I am very open minded when it comes to the paranormal and stuff like that and almost every time I watch that show I can't help but pick it apart. It seems most of the time like they aren't curing the house of ghosts but helping the people to control their own wild beliefs.
  • I watch them yes. The Ghost Hunters are real but we must also look at it as a television show. Although I know for a fact they do hunt ghost the drama is a bit much. this is not the teams fault as it is television and they have directors and producers that encourage more drama to keep the ratings up.
  • I think the only ones that are not real, are the ones that they show on TV. Oh I guess thats all of them that are fake.
  • I do watch Ghost Hunters. They haven't shown any real evidence of ghosts till now. What they show can't be blindly believed. Some of the shows make no sense at the end.
  • no I dont think they are fake, however, I do think the producers bbef it up for the shock factor. I have to believe that Jay & Grant wouldnt allow any fake crap after the reputation they have built for this orginazation. They are co producers too.
  • ive never seen it but it sounds good
