What is there to think about? It was wiped out in the 14th century. If you want to find an example of Gnosticism try reading the gospel of Thomas.

Gnosticism is one of the main false teachings covered in all 4 gospels by Yeshua (Jesus Christ) and by all the disciples and the apostle Paul. Gnosticism calls many things sin that are not sin in the Bible. The Catholic church latched on to Gnosticism in 397 AD as they could collect more "Indulgence money" from their people.
