  • I almost did. Coming home from Berlin, I got sidetracked at Tempelhof Airport and by the time I reached the gate, they had just closed the door and was sealing it. The way it worked at Tempelhof, passengers claimed a set of steps outside to board the plane. The steps hadn't been pulled away yet, so I ran up the steps and started beating on the door - luckily, someone heard me and opened it. Needless to say, I was a popular guy all the way to Frankfurt...at least they were pointing and laughing.
  • No never. I rarely fly with a connecting flight and am always on time at the airport. So it would not be my fault and with the airlines I have been lucky so far. More than a 7 hour delay I never had, that was it with my problems when flying.
