My washing machine died. Where do you look for inexpensive appliances?

I bought one at the thrift store for under $100. You can also rent to own. Craig's list would be another source, or you can call a machine repair shop and ask if they have one for sale. The power company sometimes sells them, too and will just add the payments to your power bill, but they're brand new and not cheap. Good luck!

Good used appliance stores generally have good appliances at low prices and they will give a limited guarantee.
