I would hope in the future with the help of telecommunications there would be less need for cars. They should have an environmentally friendly power source and a direct trajectory making them more efficient. Air vehicles if you will so no infrastructure is necessary for their use. And while we're being futuristic why not have it fold up like the Jetson's, right?
