Linda Joy Forgiveness is for the offended not the offender. As long as you can put it in the past and not let it continue to bother you that's the important part. -
Hardcore Conservative It doesn't bother me in the slightest. But, that doesn't mean that I'll forgive.

I forgive others immediately when I am offended. When I offend someone I ask for forgiveness of them right away.

I try to do so as well. But sometimes I offend and the offended don't let me know. And sometimes it takes some work to forgive. But yes,the sooner the better!
