Is it normal to become attatched/emotionally dependent on someone you admitted suicidal/depressive thoughts to?
My teacher has helped me through this, and i’ve Noticed i’ve Become very attatched/borderline dependent emotionally upon him? The question is not if it is appropriate, merely if it is normal, given the circumstances, to develop such a reliance. Mental health is a complex thing, and I want to know if i’m alone in this or not

I never have. My question is why did you tell this to your teacher and not a counselor? Is this teacher a member of the opposite sex? Married?

No,its not normal to use an authority figure as a crutch. Sadly its likely a part of your unresolved mental issues.
