  • 9-6-2017 No, of course not. I have to pay every time I answer a call, and after a couple of minutes they boost my basic rate by about 50%. So I don't answer any call that I didn't ask for.

      that sounds like a horrible plan in my opinion. But I guess if it works for you that's what matters.
  • No. They can ask "is this Joe Doe?", and if you say yes, then they can record your voice and splice it into an answer to a different question, like, "would you like to subscribe."

      I started getting many times MORE calls when I sighed up onto the Do Not Call list. And I have no interest in trying to report them all, because nothing gets done.
