• "Mothers day" is not a religious requirement... We should respect our mothers 24/7/365

Even Jesus did not set aside a special day for his mother...being a form of worship. (Ecclesiastes 12:13) The conclusion of the matter, everything having been heard, is: Fear the true God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole obligation of man.

Hey ! DID say it joined the two together...Church / mother's day...
    • Linda Joy
No, I did not say either was required for the other. I merely mentioned them both in the same question. Asking if people were going to church tomorrow and reminding them that it was Mother's Day.

  • i did go but i dont have a mother around and never had kids and everyone forgot i wouldnt have minded being invited over to forget about all that
  • As many of you know I do not attend church. I would not go just to please people and listen to all the accolades from a pulpit of a social club. My mother has been gone for 11 years. I love the memory of her and don't need to go to any church just to prove it.
  • No, I quit attending church a couple of years ago. I no longer believe in gods,
    • ReiSan
