Even if I was in great shape I still would not wear a thong to the beach. Actually, I can't go to the beach. I am VERY sun sensitive and can't do the beach.

Sure, I wear a thong any time I go to the beach. The first time is a little scary but then you find out that it's no big deal, and a lot of fun. When wearing a thong I find that lots of people smile and are friendly, I get to meet lots of new people. There are a lot of insecure people who think you have to look like a super model to wear a thong but that's just wrong. It does help if you are not grossly obese, but other than that you just have to be a normal self confident person. Go for it, try it out, wear a thong the next time you go to the beach. You must be curious about it or you would not have posted the question, so make that one fear you will overcome this year.

On the beach in my town, Fort Lauderdale, it is very common to see women and girls in thongs. You will see them all up and down the beach and on the part of the beach frequented by most of the younger crowed the ratio of thongs goes up noticeably. I often run down the beach in the mornings and while it is still true that thongs are not the most common bottom there are a lot of them. People around here just treat a girl or women wearing a thong as perfectly normal. We even see some men in thongs, but that is a lot less common. Wearing a thong has more to do with your level of self confidence than the number of hours you spent in the gym, although the latter does help. So if you are considering it, go for it. You only live once.

I wear one al the time. My chick is a dancer an started me wearing thongs to the beach about 6 years ago. Now I either free ball it or wear a thong under my jeans and Always in a thong or string at the beach. Hell yea!
