No, but I handled a few at the meat market the ball and chain and i opened before he started practicing law. They feel really really wierd, even more so than Mountain Oysters (bull balls) or Tripe (cow stomach) ;D

Yes, and it was good. Had to have it a few more times to get over the fact of what it was until the thought of it didn't bother me anymore.

Many times when mom cooked. It is a rich beef taste and very tender, makes great sandwiches too. I also made the dish a few times after I married but my wife said she would rather not have it again.

yes i have..it is a delicatessen..Russian people always have a plate of cow tongue on the table during dinner or at a restaurant..it's not amazing but it isn't horrible

OMG, did you bring back memories! When I was about 11, my Mom, brother, and I visited her cousin. Dinner was served and the 'meat' looked strange to me. It WAS tongue! Who serves tongue for dinner to company that has neve been there before? I knew I had to be polite, so cut the meat up in the tinest pieces, buried a piece in a scoop of mashed potatoes and swallowed the whole thing down! Obviously still remember it to this day! YUK!
