He can look like whatever he wants you to see him as. He's spirit, not bound by physical appearances. However, when he comes to earth he's gonna wanna have people that want to see him as Jesus to see him as Jesus. So he'll probably have the holes in the hands & feet and he'll probably look like that picture that a lot of Christians have in their homes.

His fingers are made of icicles and he brandishes a whip, and when he speaks, black plumes of smoke escape from his mouth.

Satan appears in many forms. According the the Curé d'Ars, he would appear to him in the night as a big black toad. Another would be a black dog. But his usual form could be from what you see in children`s books and on tv, as popular culture portrays him.

If you read the bible, it says that he is not red with horns. he actually doesnt look any were near that or how we usually picture him. The bible says he was very beautiful. he was a beautiful angel created by God. From what I read, he seemed to be Gods favorite. God created him for a specific purpose,and gave him a certain amount of power and authority. Instead of using it for what it should of been used for, he used the power to attempt to exalt himself above God. After satan had tempted adam to eat from the tree,sin had entered man and the world for the first time,God had created hell and put satin and all of the angels that followed him in hell to suffer for all eternity. God loved satan.He did not want to do that to satan,but he left God no choice.Thers a real pic of satan on the net. Bible says he was beautiful.
