Yes, I call one of my brothers.
-
No I do not. But, I can always learn.
-
Yes, but I choose not to. (Besides, me and working on vehicles is a bad plan. Either the me or the vehicle WILL suffer damage in the process!)
-
Absolutely, but time permitting of course.
-
Nope, but my dad is an ex-mechanic and auto shop head. I'll def. learn.
-
Yea...I drive up to the service center and wait for 30mins.
-
Yes,,Every three thousand Miles ;)
-
sure you put a bucket under your car and unscrew the thingey, then wait for for the gross black stuff to come out, then screw back in the thingey and add 5 quarts of oil
-
+5. Yes and I never get dirty because all I do is hand the man my credit card and he does it for me
-
Yes, and everything else it may need.
-
Yep. I've done it for many years. My truck has never had an oil change but by me. Every 3,000 with a new filter.
-
I do and do it on occasion...but it is so much easier to just run down to the local oil changing place and pay $22 for a 10 minute oil change.....
-
No, despite what people may assume, I don't know how to do very much with my car except gas it up and drive it.
-
Sure. I change the oil in my family's "fleet". I save a few bucks.
-
What? My truck uses gas and oil? What's next water in the radiator and air in the tires? Sorry - I do run on, yes, the answer is yes. I do not do it though. I will work on anything on a house but just have not really enjoyed doing so on my vehicls. +5
-
totaly... I have changed the oil on every vehicle I have owned. my current one makes be reach in through the wheel well to get the oil filter... pain in the butt. that is why I use amsoil which claims 25000 miles. though to extend the life of my engine I think I'll change every 10000.
-
I am sure I could figure it out..I could You Tube how:) But I would rather go to the Lube Stop with a hot mechanic where I can get a 10 minute oil change:):)
-
yes but i still take my in truck in.i'm lazy.
-
yes i do but the guys at the oil change palce are alot better. lol
-
Yup, I've been doin' it since I was a kid. :)
-
If i didn't i'd be ashamed of it, i took a year for diesel mechanics, lol
-
Yes but it's a pain to get rid of the old oil so I just have it serviced.
-
I sure do.
-
sorry I don't but I bet I could figire it out, maybe
-
Yes, I changed the oil in one of my vehicles just a few days ago. I also know how to build a vehicle...
-
Yes I do, but have hardly ever done it myself.
-
I do, but I never have because while it's still under warranty I chose to take it and have the dealership do it.
-
Yes, it is very simple. I usually just take it about every 7,000 miles or so. No sense in foolishly changing it every 3,000 according to wear studies of 300,000 miles!
-
yep all 4 gallons of it
-
Yes, I do, as a matter of fact. But I prefer getting the job done in a jiffy at the service station.
-
Ive seen it done and if I had to I proubly could. But I wouldnt want to. (Im just saying this about me ok... I play the dumb blond. Hehe) Just kidding about the blond stuff!
-
What, and deprive those underpaid, overworked, dealership mechanics of the joy my brood and I undoubtedly provide by descending upon them regularly? I would never do that to them.
-
yes, if i had a car i do know how to change it's oil. 1. drive to jiffylube 2. ask for an oil change 3. pay the man.
-
I have been riding motorcycles since I was 7, I have been driving cars since I was 10 ... I guess growing up on the land allows less restrictions and greater learning for those more hands on type tasks ... I can pull an engine down and rebuild it ... have done so many times as I raced motorcycles for many years and often did my own repairs and modifications, I have also restored a couple of old cars. Oil change ... Yes! I always do my own. Peace
-
Yep. I say, "Honey, I think it's time for you to change the oil in my car." Usually I don't have to say it though. It just magically happens!
-
Eww no!! (mens work):)
-
Yes, I change the oil of my car every 6 to 8 months =)
-
It has oil? kidding... yes, theoretically I do, but it's far too much of a mess.
-
Yes but for less than 20 bucks its just easier to go to Walmart. Plus they vacuum your car.
-
Yes, something I need to do before too long...
-
No, straight to the Dealer for me!
-
Yes,but I don't.It's all dirty under there!
-
Say what now? All I know is that I shouldn't check it when it is parked on a slope... that leads to the need for a reconditioned engine.
-
I do not. My sis and I changed a tire once though! Do you know how to change the oil Spicy? Happy Wednesday! :) ((hugs))
-
I have never done but if I had to I could probably figure it out. Take the cap off the oil pan? let the dirty oil drain into something, and I know where and how much to add the new oil. I think that about covers it. :)
-
Yes, but I choose not to. I can also change a tire, attach battery cables, change an air filter, and even do minor repairs. I am fairly good at troubleshooting (on the older models). My first husband was a mechanic and I found myself under the hood of a car, "tinkering around" more often than I otherwise might have.
-
Yes indeed.
-
Do bicycles have oil?
-
I've never changed my oil but I'm sure I could figure it out. I've seen people change oil many times. Plus they don't make the manual for nothing... Anyways, it doesn't look hard...just messy. Thats why I don't do it. I usually take it somewhere bc of that.
-
Yes, I do. But fibromyalgia makes my hands too weak to get a good grip on wrenches anymore and I can't get the filter off.
-
yes i do.+5
-
I knew how to do it in my old vehicle, but not the one that I have now. But it's ok- I married a mechanic! =-P
-
I haven't changed oil on any vehicle in decades. It's cheaper and safer for all concerned to let professionals do it-I don't shine my own shoes, make my own clothes, or cut my own hair either.
-
yes I do but I prefer my mechanic husband to do it. +3
-
I sure do.
-
Yes,but I choose to allow the Jiffy Lube people to do it,,they grease all the fittings and fill the washer fluid,,etc,,they are worth the expense.
-
yes i do ive been doing it since i was 14 yrs old
-
No I don't. +5
-
Yes, I do know how. I take it to the shop to have it done because of disposal purposes though.
-
I got people for that. Jiffy Lube.
-
Sure, I take the car to the service shop.
-
yes worked for my dads garage in my teens,i can change your water too......
-
Yes, I do my own. Would you like me to do yours for you?
-
yes but it only saves me about 5 bucks. i take it in to be done if im low on time.
-
No, but i need to get it changed.
-
Yep :)
-
yes i drive it over to my dads.
-
sure i take it to fast lane, oil and lube. twenty minutes and i am out of there for nineteen ninety five.
-
Thanks for reminding me i have to check my car oil ,as i almost forgot.
-
Yes, the problem is; what to do with the old oil.
-
yup mine and everyone elses car...i work @ a tire and lube place =D
-
NO
-
Nope. I have no interest in the mechanical side of cars, which I think stems from being forced to help my dad fix his car when I was younger, when I wanted to go out and play with my mates instead.
-
No, wish I did.
-
Yes, theres nothing to it. One of the easiest things to do on your vehicle
-
Although you can easily change oil yourself by reviewing your car manual, it is actually not worth it as now you can get very good deals on oil change. A good website http://www.prundo.com is great for downloading free oil change coupons. They also have coupons for other auto repair needs!
-
Very easy to do
-
Yes my family and I do a lot of our own maintanance on our own vehicles.
-
Yup. I've done it before.
-
Yup, it's easy to do.
-
I sure do
-
Changing oil is the easiest job on the planet. However, with great deals on oil change, I do not recommend doing i yourself. In case you are looking to save money, then visit http://www.prundo.com to download free oil change coupons.
-
Yes, I enjoy being able to work on my vehicles.
