Yes. They are easier to look through, easier to take out of the closet and if they need to come out in a hurry (fire, etc.) you can take them out by the armful.

I organize by dress category (casual, dress, work, etc) all facing the same direction.

No I just throw em in there in any direction, the less fortunate clothes go in my hamper because I'm to lazy to fold and tuck them away.

Yep! I can be a bit obsessive about my clothes. They all have to be on the same type and color of hanger. They all have to be in categories ( pants, long-sleeve shirts, black t-shirts, etc. ), and they all have to face toward the centr of the closet where the door is; clothes on the right facing left, clothes on the left facing right. I CAN hang them hapazardly, because I have at times, but this is how I PREFER them! : )) BTW ... I do all this myself. My wife never has to hang my stuff up.

Yes! LoL, they are all facing the same direction. I'm obsessed. My bed can be messy as hell, but, my clothes MUST face towards the center. Left side the the right, and right side to the left.

yeah. and theyre grouped according to clothing types. im a total organizational freak. having my things organized in a visually appealing manner and in an orderly fashion where i can find them easily gives me peace of mind. yeah, its mildly ocd. i think it stems from childhood ~ my parents kept our home in impeccable order (it was almost like a museum it was so neat). im not as ocd as them, but it sure rubbed off on me. :)
