Don't kid yourself, economically we are in bad shape. It will take 12 to 18 months or more to get the DOW ship, righted. This will mean a lot more hard times for Americans as well as the rest of the world. Unemployemnt is headed to 10+% and most of the other leading indicators will be just as bad. Of course we will get out of this but dont think good times lay just a step away. Be safe and keep some cash on hand.

We're screwed the Market is starting to really see it. Jobless rates are going up but not to worry 4 million people will be unable to get there check as they are getting ready to fall of the unemployement list. Oh the joy.

I dearly love my Country, but America, like all political entities, will eventually fade from the scene in one way or another. It's actually more likely that it will be absorbed into some sort of larger, regional entity than that it will be destroyed.

Well I maybe overreacting but someone who despises our National Anthem and takes pride in burning our American flag is now our president, I think we have a problem. He can't use the freedom of expression or speech either. Their is no excuse to dis your country. Their are just some things you just DON'T do! I can't believe that he is playing the race card all the time when he is half white.

Delighted. This country really is capable of anything. "Inadvertent progressives" we were called by a British friend of mine one time. I've really found it very true, kicking and screaming the whole way, more often than not advancing ourselves without any thought or intention. I look forward to seeing what's in the future. I guess I'm a little curious, too. :)

Not all that great at the moment. I've been pretty pessimistic for about the last six months, and probably will be for at least the next couple of years.

I think everything will be fine in the long run, but I dont think we are going to be known as the power we once were, I think after the past 100 years or so being a strong power, someone may take that title over.

America is an illusion that's fading fast. It's not gonna be able to use "Agenda 21" like it would like to. The so-called Americans are gonna get off their fat asses & kick the crap out of your leaders or we will. Which they are well aware of. War is on the horizon for that land of deciet & betrayal. How does it feel to be so screwed by the government there? I feel like America is a lost cause & can just ...... Even though i have friends & family there. It can burn for what it's done & doing.
