Would you rather pump your own gas, or have a service person do it for you?

I would rather have it pumped for me but those days are LONG gone. There is one place in a city close to me that still does that but believe me when I say that you pay dearly for that service too.

We don't have that here. You put your own petrol in your car and you get on with it.

I belive there is only one state where one cannot pump their own - New Jersey. So in must states you have a choice. To me the question would be how much extra would you be willing to pay to have someone else to do it? Around here it costs 5 to 10 cents extra.

I pump it myself. I have had attendents spill gas on the car and scratch it.

I do it myself. I had one of the attendant's zipper scratch my car from rubbing up against it.

If the weather is nice I rather do it when it is raining I rather they do it.

I have always pumped my own gas and have no problem with it. I don't recall seeing a full-service gas station since before I learned how to drive.

Where I live in CA, everybody pumps their own gas these days. I went to OR not long ago though, and they always pump the gas for you. Self service gas is against the rules there. 1/12/26

Ill do it myself it annoys me when the service turn out puts 91 in my hottie that likes 98. They only do it at places with 30 year old equipment where the owners dont trust the public to pump fuel. The one place I go where they pump fuel for you the owner is very rude I dont like the turn out one bit he puts the wrong fuel in every time Ive had more than one fight with him, its a small town with only one servo I hate it when I go there with out enough fuel to go home, most people that live in the town never buy fuel off him either.
