  • In the past, the courts have 80% of the time leaned toward the mother, instead of the father. its a different world today. the courts now base their decisions on the facts, not just on a mother being a mother. some mothers are not fit to be a parent. this includes parents who are drug addicts or criminals. some children have been taken away totally, when both parents are drug addicts. The best interest of the child is the goal of any and all divorce cases. the child comes first. the parents come second, as it should be. Blood is always thicker than water. keep this in mind.
