• well the right way would be to take it slow start leaving him/her for a while and start increasing it slowly also you'll need to give him/her that attention he lost (if u dont play with them or give them much attention when they get older all they'll do is sleep) also when u do leave buy him/her a small toy so when you get back you can give it to him/her cause the puppy will probably cry without you there, so bring your puppy a toy afterwards to show him/her that everything is okay, i hope this answer helped you and goodluck with your puppy
  • If you can't do the transistion slowly is there someone that can come visit the puppy during the day. I would let them get aquainted while you are there and then when they are used to each other start leaving them alone.
  • get another puppy to keep him company
