  • No. He's not intelligent enough. Not enough experience.
  • Yes I do,with the Democratic delegates to choose from I trust him the most.I would prefer an independent, not associated with either party, but It is not as likely that they would get the votes needed.
  • No. He seems like a dud to me. That makes me think his presidency would be a dud.
  • I think I just heard he has now shown to have used cocaine as well as pot. I don't want a guy like that with his hand close to the nuke switch. I heard the cocaine story last night here on the radio (Jay Severin Show) in the Boston area. That worries me pot is unavoidable given his generation but Coke really concerns me.
  • Yes I do. We need a fresh breath of air in D.C. I've never been a single-party devotee, but in my opinion the Republican party has lost it's roots and its mind and the Democratic party stalwarts have become a bunch of spineless posturers. I'd like an Independent, but none of them stands a chance at this time in this country. I think we need a change of direction in this country on many levels. I think Obama can start to bring that about. Just my opinion at this point in time. :)
  • Yes. We need change.
  • Not in a million years. No smarts, no experience. He is just another product of corrupt Chicago politicians.
  • No, he has not accomplished anything of any significance. Obama needs a lot more experience and some policies that he proposes have already strongly insulted some of our key trading partners and allies. Besides that most of his proposals are anti-constitutional.
  • As compared to whom? Out of the Democratic choices I would pick Edwards first and Obama second. Actually, I really like Kucinich but he's unfortunately out of the picture. The Republican candidates scare me. Really frightening. As for Obama's qualifications, they're as good as anybody's. Hillary doesn't have more qualifications than Barak, she just has a name and public recognition. Barak has demonstrated intelligence, ability, determination and imagination. I have no doubt any of the top three Democratic candidates would be better than Bush (1 or 2). The reasons I see here for objecting to Obama don't seem realistic to me. Should he be president? I think Edwards should be president. But if Obama were to be the Democratic choice, I'd back him all the way. I think he's great.
  • It concerns me that he wanted to quit fighting AQ in Iraq, yet nuke Pakistan, who is an ally.
  • I have to be honest and say that there is not one area of concern that this man seems to know front to back on. He repeats second hand information and never seems to have an idea what he is talking about. He hops on the Iraq bandwagon because it is a hot topic and tries to lather us up with his anti war crap because he thinks that is his biggest area to win over.. yet wants to go over and just plow out Pakistan. GMAB. Watching him preach it about family and hypocrites in political positions really gets me. Real men with honor fight their good fights without having to brown nose, borrow ideas or gangbang up on another running party. He would never get my vote because I have never heard one original thought come from him or even seen a sign he has a clue how to run his own mind much less our country. Edits -- Don't like my opinion? Tough.. He would never get my vote. He is inexperienced and plays a card I despise being played. It is a crutch and I would kick it out from under him because he is a weak man. Want him in office? Get your butt out and vote for him. Just vote
  • I think Barack Obama will be a great President, he'll have my vote...all the Republicans scare me.
  • yeah, why not.
  • Yeah, I do.
  • I under. stand! what? the B & W mean but what does the T mean in this isolated instance?
  • I hope he does. The Clintons and Bush are all about using the nation to make a quick buck, we need a change!
  • nope-he had a good message but no answers-calling for change without saying what change really hurt him---just my thoughts--smile and enjoy the day-have some points good question
  • No. I wish Obama or Hillary would win,but honestly, i think it will be Romney. :(
  • if the people of the U.S. has any brains he will!!
  • He is attractive, intelligent, personable. well educated and well spoken. He is less experienced and qualified than ANY of the other candidates. If he were "white" he would not rate the slightest consideration for the Presidency. But as a "Black candidate" he inspires the DREAM of Afroamericans in the United States. This is not enough. Once he got SOME experience. (for instance as Secretary of State in the Clinton Cabinet) He could be an genually viable candidate for 2024. By now he would be an unfortunate choice for the Democratic Party; and could not possible win.
  • I believe his biggest weakness could be a lack of experience. But other than that, I think he is the guy for the job.
  • No, despite his good intentions he doesn't have the experience. How can anyone do "on the job training" as Commander-in-Chief in time of war, with no military background? Go McCain! :-)
  • No person has ever been so close to being POTUS who was less qualified or capable. Obama becomes POTUS is a nighmare, for the U.S., and the world.
  • In another 4 to 8 years, I think he will have developed, gotten the experience needed and will make a great president.
  • Absolutely not, he is just talking BS, many people were fooled by his BS , we need to use simple common sense.
  • Have you seen his Reverend lately?
  • HELL NO!
  • Yes, it's about time
  • We do need a change, I just hope he doesnt end up being a loser
  • Absolutely! he should and will be the next president of the united states. I can't wait! Finally America will enter the future. Let's leave the "bad old days" of Dubya behind us. Government can be good, if you have competent people running it!
  • I see a lot of answers saying how intelligent he is, or he would be qualified for president, and he's a great speaker, and blah blah .. but I don't think that anyone we says this really knows about what he's real issues are or what he's really about. : He's always talking about "change" yet I see no evidence of any change at all. in fact he sounds much like Bush, Clinton, and McCain. He wants to send 3 times as many troops to Iraq, and he talks about invading Pakistan and possibly Iran. He said he'd vote to expand Nafta, which would move the North American Union right allow, which most people know nothing about and don't know how dangerous to the US that would be. He's all for expanding and more spending. I have seen nothing showing he cares about the economy or knows what to do with the national debt. America can NOT afford this war any longer. Litteraly and figuratively. : How is he any more "Qualified" than any one else?? It's because he make the perfect hand puppet for the elite Powers that Be! Obama's economic advisor, Austan 'The Ghoul' Goolsbee, was a super-secret Skull And Bones Member, as was George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush, and John Kerry, G.W's cousin. Obama's main overall image adviser and foreign policy adviser is Zbigniew Brzezinski, the co-founder of David Rockefeller's Trilateral Commission, and the mastermind of the disastrous Carter administration. Obama's wife Michelle is reputed to be closely linked to the Council on Foreign Relations. : The only reasons I think people like him and support him is because of his ability to Speak without sounding like a complete ignorant jackass like GW. Americans havent been used to that in over 8 years. Also, unfortunately I have to say people are voting for him because he's black, and don't really know what his issues really are. I hate to say it, but it's true. He just talks good... . ... and is good at manipulating people. : For more info: http://forum.prisonplanet.com/index.php?board=304.0 : http://www.obamatruth.org/ : http://www.obamatruth.org/video/TABO_012007pm_medium.mov : http://www.obamatruth.org/video/TABO2_061807_small.mov
  • Obama was raised as a Muslim and everyone knows the penalty for leaving Islam .Death. He is alive soooooooo. No manu negatives for me to vote for him.
  • At this point he seems about as true and honest as an old sock yo...
  • Obama should be president because Hilliary was already in the white house with her husband, what else does she want? power?
  • The simple truth is that Obama is a moron and McCain is a genius. If Obama pulled our troops outta Iraq where would America be? Then there would be noone to keep the terrorists down! There would be more 9/11s!
  • For some reason, it will not let me answer your comment as a reply, Misshell the godfather. Here is my answer, though: Of course starting more wars won't help our country. But we have no choice but to defend our country. If other countries wanna play, we have no choice but to play. And our economic crisis is one of the main reasons that Obama worries me. He moved to pass a bill to 'help' our economic crisis, but 98 of 99 senators voted AGAINST the bill. And not only did everyone vote against it, but OBAMA HIMSELF voted against his own bill. What does that tell you about his knowledge [or lackthereof] on our economy? Besides that, he wants to raise taxes. I don't know about you, but I cannot afford to pay higher taxes. If people are forced to pay extreme taxes, they will not be able to afford buying things, going places, etc., thus further hindering our economy.
  • OBAMA ROCKS----------------------------------Palin shoots a moose
  • no way in hell.
  • yes, he is a great leader and will do good not only for the US but for the whole world Obama for President!
  • Yes i do. I think he will be the best president we've had in a good long while. The US needs a good shaking up, because obviously close to nothing that we're doing right now is going right. We need a new, fresh, young perspective to get the change we require. I will vote for him, and feel free to find me if you want to know more about him.
  • No, because of this: "Barack Obama believes "that global warming is not just the greatest environmental challenge facing our planet—it is one of our greatest challenges of any kind." During his first 100 days in office, he would enact a giant and far-reaching tax "an economy-wide cap on U.S. carbon emissions that will reduce U.S. emissions by the amount scientists agree is necessary (80%) or $45 Trillion dollars".-Timesonline.uk, June 6, 2008 .....and people are making a big fuss about a measly $700 billion. That's less than 2% of what Obama has in store. Will the Dow Jones ever make it up past 100 if this happens?
  • No and here is why? Barak Obama has many good Ideas but his ideas about how to deal with matters of national security scare the hell out of me. If Obama becomes President there will almost undoubtly be a far worse terrorist attack on American Soil than even 9/11. Obama has repeatedly stated that he would not use any military force or launcfh any pre emptive strikes even if there was creddible evidence that we were at risk of an attack. He thinks that the answer is sitting down with maniacs who want nothing more than to see every single American dead and peaccfully negotiating is the answer. We cannot afford to risk an Obama Presidency. We need a man like John McCain who won't be afraid to show those who would want to harm us F**k with us and we will kick your a**
  • I don't know that it is right to say anyone SHOULD be or do anything. However, I think he will do a good job as president.
  • IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT WE THINK, GOD WILL HAVE THE LAST SAY SO. MY OPINION IF ALL THE HATE IN THIS DOESN'T CHANGE,NO MATTER WHO'S PRESIDENT THE WORLD THE WORLD WILL BE THE SAME. SO VOTE FOR THE PERSON YOU THINK IS BEST, REMEMBER ONE THING WHAT EVER YOU DO MAKE SURE IT'S DONE OUT OF LOVE GOD BLESS. P.S. IF ALL MY PEOPLE WHICH ARE CALLED BY MY NAME WILL JUST HUMBLE THEMSELVES AND PRAY TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS,THEN I WILL HERE FROM HEAVEN FORGIVE THEIR SINS AND HEAL THEIR LAND ,JESUS.
  • I don't. He is too green, and the media loves him too much. He who is adored is not fully understood.
  • Most of the world it seems.
  • Apparently most Americans, and clearly most of the world.
  • You know, pleanty of our presidents haven't had executive experience, and they've done great things. Look at Lincoln he was a senator with no executive experience.
  • Over McCain and Palin, yes. But barely. If McCain had done two things, I might have voted for him. 1. someone other than Palin for VP. 2. If he would stop saying "My friends".
  • Do you mean besides most muslims and the Arab world in the general?
  • I don't think he should be president, but unfortunately, i think he is. (hold on wallet, don't know if we are going to survive)
  • Yes, I do and so do millions of others!
  • yes until gore relives him in 2012
  • OBAMA. Its the best hope presented that our younger generations have to work with. I hope when he gets shot at it (and i really hope he does) He will hit it out of the park and just do what he says he's going to. He'll be tested thats for sure, but I rather chance it with him. I think if he sticks to the truth of his policies and his ideals it can work wonders.
  • Me and I've voted.
  • I do not.
  • I don't know Obama, but I am not about to throw insults towards him. Lots of people are downgrading a man they more than likely don't even know much about except for what they're hearing from others. I'm going to be honest... I believe in my heart race shouldn't be the issue if it's all about doing good for "WE THE PEOPLE". If anyone (yes, women too) who wants to be president can get out there in this world & make it a better place I say, "Go for it!". They deserve that opportunity too. Just for the record & the ones who are worrying about what our new president may be capable of doing. Let's continue living your lives one day at a time as we should in GOD'S eyes & let tomorrow take care of itself. keep in mind our awesome GOD is still in control of all things... Peace & Love, ~Jai!~
  • As he has been elected to that office by the electorate of his country there would be something very wrong if he wasn't.
  • Yes, why not. He is there by the people and owes no one.
  • The Bible says clearly that God is the one who puts people in as heads of state. What they do with the position when they get to the top is up to them personally. Still, God will hold them accountable for any criminal or immoral conduct. I feel President Obama will do a good job, but then again, I don't know the man like God and his wife do.
  • No, but who cares what I think. I think obama is against God and Jesus Christ, so I am against obama. He said he stands with the muslims against all others and they both for years attended and was active in Anti-American events. Wonder if they participated in any that was against the law. Oh, that is right just about all the Anti-American events were against the laws of America. He is a demon sent by the devil as I see it. I hope that I can freely express how I feel without making anybody mad.
  • He *is* President. Accept the new reality.
  • i voted for him, so, yes i do...
  • yeah....i dont think obama would be a good president i no he will be the best president that the unite states will ever have and if you dont like it then just get over it becuase he is the president now !!!!
