Why are all these people on ambien? I really feel sorry for Rosanne. That woman is all kinds of messed up. She needs help and I fear she doesn't have people in her corner that have her wellbeing as a priority. But to answer your question. I think blaming something for bad behavior will always be popular. If warning lables get added to anything it should be to whiskey lol. No matter what though, guilt is guilt, whatever influence you're under doesn't make a difference.

People have been using the "Sorry, I drank too much", or "Sorry, I was on ____" , excuse for, well, I am 55, so for at least that long. I don't think that will change. I also don't think we need to slap more warning labels on pills. These are adults who know better. Roseanne has shown herself to be mentally ill. From her tirade during the national anthem to blasting her parents for sexual abuse, which may or may not be true, but I never bought the claim. She's always said inappropriate things and behaved inappropriately.

Linda Joy Maybe that's BECAUSE she was sexually abused as a child. It does cause mental illnesses from depression to BPD. Have you ever used Ambien? It really does make you do weird stuff, but yes, she's been needing help for quite some time. -

Its a very common thing - Jean Harlow, Carlos Santana, Jack Nicholson, Oprah, and others were all abused by family or relatives. Ambien's been around for a while. It's not going away. People have been drunk dialing for a long time, too, so I'm sure they'll be tweeting while under the influence of something for many years well into the future. It's not an issue of any great importance.
